Midday Friday and the day moves slowly. I may make a phone call, researching a membership issue re: a KofC member; and I may assemble paperwork to give to another KofC officer tomorrow at Mass. Neither of those chores are time-critical, but both will make next Wednesday's Assembly meeting go more smoothly. We'll see how much ambition I can muster up this afternoon.

A busy, full day. I now consider myself fairly competent at spreadsheet usage. And self-taught. When I woke this morning I wasn't. At all. So there is that. Also changed the furnace filter, really should do that more often. And I attended a KofC Leadership Webinar this evening. That's my quota of three daily chores, and it makes this an adequately productive Thursday.

After a rough night's sleep (too hot to sleep, even with the a/c running full blast) I moved into a Wednesday full of comms with different KofC officers and an Insurance Accounts Manager, and some spreadsheet work. Hoping for a better night's sleep tonight, and a calmer, quieter day tomorrow..

Too much time this Tuesday struggling with a corporate policy being unfairly applied by men who should know better. Still, I did manage to accomplish 2 main chores, and made significant progress on a 3rd. That's my quota for a day's work. Hopefully I'll be able to get a healthy quota of sleep tonight.

A busy Monday well underway. Have compiled and posted a lengthy event notice to my Assembly's email list, as well as photos that were forwarded to me from Saturday's Mass. And I've just taken a lengthy Webinar class from my health insurance company. Okay, that's 3 chores completed. But there's more. I have a KofC Council meeting to attend this evening, where I'm expected to deliver a report on 4th Degree activity. Hopefully I'll sleep well tonight.

Cerainly not my favorite Sunday, but it could have been much worse. Arthritis pain and unsteadiness in my back and hips (that's what I'm calling it now / again) was so bad this morning I could hardly walk. So I stayed home from Mass, again. Though home bound, I did have good, diversionary TV to watch; and I was able to be relatively productive re: my KofC chores.

Making the best of a “crippled up” Saturday. Yesterday's decision not to participate in the KofC District Turnout this morning is justified by my physical condition today. Darned back and hips are so painful and unsteady that I can barely walk. OTOH, the work connecting my NFL+ account to my Paramount+ and Peacock TV streaming accounts a few days ago makes it possible to watch the NFL Preseason games via Roku's NFL Channel. Watching the Bears vs Titans game now. Sweet!

An interesting Friday, this. As soon as I decided not to participate in one time-consuming and energy-draining chore tomorrow morning, my mind was freed to tackle another major task here at home – one I've been dreading and putting off for awhile. And with the pressure of tomorrow morning no longer burdening me, this other chore was handled smoothly. And handled well, if I do say so myself. Interesting, that.

Have just “connected' my Peacock TV and my Paramount + to my NFL+ account. Will that enhance my ability to follow NFL games? Good question. I guess I'll find out. Planning to catch tonight's NFL game over Peacock. I just subscribed to Peacock a few days ago, and I've been a Paramount+ member and an NFL+ member for years. Hmm...

If yesterday was a big production day, and I guess we can say it was, considering the size of the KofC chore I took care of, then I should be satisfied if this Wednesday is a little production day. And I am. Loading the weekly pill boxes, re-posting a District Fallout notice at the request of the District Master, and attending a Webinar sponsored by my Health Insurance Company: that's three chores completed by mid-afternoon Wednesday. Listening now to Eric Nadel calling the Texas Rangers vs Oakland Athletics afternoon.
