My thinking now is that what I first thought was a touch of food poisoning, and then thought might be a touch of stomach flu, I'm now thinking it was my seasonal allergies acting up. For the last several days the pollen counts have been heavy with cedar and various tree pollens. That's a combination that hits me really hard some years. I double dosed the allergy meds about Noonish and I began feeling better almost immediately. Some years I have to eat that stuff like candy. Looks like this is one of those allergy seasons.

Hope I'm not coming down with some kind of “bug.” Vomited up my sliced ham sandwich this morning. Barely made it to the bathroom in time to avoid making a mess. That was mid-morning. Took the wife out to our favorite Sushi place for lunch about 12:30 or so and ate my fish then an ice cream desert and it stayed down just fine. I've not eaten since then. Stomach muscles are still sore from the vomiting earlier, but otherwise I don't “feel” sick. Oh well, maybe an early and good sleep tonight will find me back to my old normal. We'll see.

A low-key, successful Monday is now in the books. Got my weekly laundry done, talked to the priest of a local Church where my Assembly will be visiting later this month, and finally got contact info for the GK of that Parish's Council. I'll be reaching out to him tomorrow.

A good day with Sylvia, a good day with the Knights at Mass this morning, and building and posting a lengthy GG post after a f2f this morning and follow up text exchange with 2 different KofC officers. And the Rangers won their game this afternoon which I was able to follow. But I am still convinced I should step down from the Navigator's position at the end of this term.

Major accomplishment today was finding the perscription for my new eyeglasses. I KNEW I'd put it away somewhere safe, but I forgot where. Took me almost two whole frustrating days to find it, but finally... Now to take the Rx to an eyeglasses place and have my new specs made.

Surprised, (though I shouldn't be), at how fatigued both physically and mentally I was throughout this day as a result of the Honor Guard work on Wednesday and Thursday. I am clearly too old to do that kind of work any more.

Watching weather reports to track the line of storms set to roll through San Antonio over the next hour or so. Got my battery operated light and radio all set in case of power outage. Hail over on the west side of town now, but I'm the Northeast side.

Nearly Noon now, and I've policed our dining room a bit. It had / has become something of a staging area / storage place. So it's tidier now, better organized than it has been for awhile.

This evening will be 4th Degree work at another Rosary Service at the neighborhood Funeral Home. Hope all goes well.
