This Saturday is moving along nicely. I'll have college football games keeping me company until bedtime.

The 1st game, at halftime now, is the classic Big Ten rivalry game of Ohio St. vs Michigan. The two are tied at 10-10 presently. Later this afternoon I'll see one of my all time favorite teams, Notre Dame, playing the USC Trojans. The Irish are favored to win.

Tonight I'll watch the classic “Old Oaken Bucket Game” between the IU Hoosiers and Purdue Boilermakers. Go Hoosiers!

Listening now to the Nebraska Cornhuskers vs Iowa Hawkeyes college football game as this Friday after Thanksgiving draws closer to its end. It's been a good day. Hoping for a good night's sleep tonight leading into another good day tomorrow.

Listening now to men's college basketball, IU Hoosiers vs Louisville Cardinals. Have not checked the schedule to see what games are waiting for me later in the day, but I'm sure there will be plenty to choose from.

As the furnace kicks in just now, I'm reminded that at no time during the day did my air conditioning turn on. And as I look at the local weather forecast for the next 10 days, I see we're not supposed to have any days coming up where the highs reach into the 70s. So ... the seasons have finally turned.

Thing I like about Thanksgiving Week: there is so much quality sports to follow, both college level and pro. Today, for example, I followed a women's college basketball game, followed that with a men's college basketball on now, and have a long NFL coach's press conference coming up next. That will be followed by the Monday Night NFL Game tonight.

Listening to the Lions / Colts game this early afternoon of a relaxing Sunday. No pressing chores are ahead of me today, so I'll be enjoying football games through the afternoon and into the evening.

All things considered, this has been a pretty good Saturday. Even though my IU Hoosiers football team got beat pretty soundly, and even though the audio feed for the IU women's basketball game was so wonky I couldn't follow their game, the Lady Hoosiers still won. And I was able to dig an old Chromecast device out of storage and get it attached to the TV back in my room. So, some small bit of productivity. Enough for a Saturday.

Today has been very much a recovery day. After two consecutive days of yard work, my arthritis is making its presence known. Fingers, hands, shoulders painful and general soreness and weakness... yeah.

Tonight I'll be listening to the UTSA Roadrunners college football team playing the Rice Owls. Kickoff is minutes away.

Waiting now for my first college game of the afternoon / evening, Women's Basketball featuring the Long Island University Sharks vs the Michigan Wolverines. Opening Tip scheduled for just a few minutes from now.

My 2nd game will be Men's College Basketball, Purdue Ft. Wayne vs Penn State. Opening tip for that game is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
