Slow-down Wednesday.
For the past week I've been super busy recovering from that horrible phone hack. I think all the bleeding has been stopped, now it's a matter of keeping a very close watch on my accounts and services, looking for anything suspicious that needs correcting.
Yesterday found me spending too much time on my feet, taking care of business at my bank that had to be handled face to face. And today my hips are paying the price for that. More weak and painful than has been the case for several days. Darn.
Hoping for a more comfortable, relaxed day tomorrow.

A pretty good Tuesday in the Roscoe-verse, this, all things considered.
Hips continue to be painful and wonky, but there are moments during the day when they're not too bad. I still need to use the walking stick at all times when getting about.
Still dealing with the after effects of last week's phone hack.

Not the best of Mondays, but far from the worst.
Hips are still painful and wonky, but not all the time. From hour to hour there are times when they feel almost normal. Then they get shaky and painful again. So I have to keep a walking stick handy, even though I don't always need it.

Another very quiet, but basically good Sunday.
No Mass again today, the hips are too painful and unsteady to even think about going out anywhere.
Rangers are in the process of beating the Orioles, 11 to 5 in the bottom of the 9th inning. And tonight's Cowboys game is carried by a local OTA channel that comes in with a strong signal.

Saturday afternoon is going well in the Roscoe-verse I'm happy to say.
Despite an insomnia-filled night, I'm feeling better than I have for... weeks, maybe months. Hips are less painful and less wonky today. Yay, for that!
Recovery from the phone, credit card, bank account hack earlier this week continues, and probably will continue for weeks, possibly months, but it's doing so at a slower and less stressful pace now. I think I've got things reconfigured now to be more secure and it's just a matter of living with the new system I have in place.

My goodness, WHAT a Friday!
Last night's sleep was the best I've had in ... probably forever. No kidding. Over 8 hours of solid, restful sleep. Good thing, too. Because I had a lot of work to do today, still restructuring my financial situation. Lots of work, but it went well. And I was able to remain calm and focused through it all.
Hips are still a major problem, but I'm becoming resigned to the fact that this may be my “new normal.”

This Thursday was another abnormal day. Huge blocks of time doing damage control as I worked recovery efforts following yesterday's disastrous phone/credit card/ bank hack job. And that after a VERY short night's sleep.
Feels good to be watching TV coverage tonight of local high school football.

NOT my favorite Wednesday! I spent 7 solid hours on the phone trying to get a bogus paypal charge corrected and wound up with my phone and bank accounts hacked. So tomorrow I wake up to do damage control.

Midday Tuesday and all is well, all things considered. Hips are still painful and wonky, walking without my walking stick in hand is still a very risky thing.
Glad my Texas Rangers are up 4-0 vs the Mariners in the 6th Inning of this 1st Post-Season game. It'll be really great if they hold on to the lead and win.

The good news from this Monday: My wonky hips were less wonky today than they've been recently. The general pain level was less today than it's been recently. I was even walking around the house without my walking stick for a few hours midday. And I was able to do some light stretching and hip exercises.
The bad news: USPS service here has always been bad, today was no exception to that. According to the USPS Informed Service we were supposed to receive 8 pieces of mail. We didn't get any of them. Instead we got two pieces of mail that should have gone to our neighbors. Hope our mail shows up tomorrow.
