Well if you ever attend one of their ideas generation sessions, you would understand business major needs self-help books just like how the soul needs chicken soup.

But like, I also told my sister that her wedding was the worst day of my life, and everyone was just giggling.

So there is more to life than just validating your friends without believing in it, reassuring things will pick up without knowing it, not offering practical solutions so your family members can suffer later, being kind to everyone except your loved ones because that's normally how emotionally lying to yourself goes.

Still don't know what emotional intelligence is. But sounds like something that would make you boring. So I decide not to learn it.

Refusing to attend your best friend's wedding because you don't feel like meeting that many people, and shouting from the rooftop that doing drugs is bad, are not narcissism. It's called having preferences.

Telling people that they have the obligation to fight for the rights of marginalized people, and people need to stop what they are doing right now and go out on the street to protest for peace, are narcissism.

Because narcissism means treating others as extensions of one's self, not how well they phrase their demands, or how virtuous their ideology is.

I take the whole “The genuine poet is an intuitive psychologist” very seriously. Because I actually wanted to throw up multiple times when I started learning writing and was aware of the social pressure to say things that didn't feel right. Most of my analysis comes from my writing process, and not from reading textbook theories. I barely read any books.

But people who only read books and don't do much daily practice frequently miss subtle signs of narcissism. Outside of writing, just thinking about stuff a lot helps too.

Today is so over. Let's see if there is someone to make fun of tomorrow.

tender love.

Screaming to the world that you are victims of freedom because of bad internet doesn't make you cooler than aunties gathering outside of prisons after watching the first episode of “Making a murderer”.

My neighbor said my Vietnamese was almost there. I only needed to improve the 10% left.

  • Oh I love your shirt.
  • Thank you. Me too.
  • Great... Wait, you mean you love your shirt too?
  • Yeah!

Not that I try to deceive people intentionally. But it often goes like this. – Oh great. So do you come here to study alone or your parents go with you? – No I'm living alone. Only because I was confused the whole time and tried to answer the part I was confident the most. Then I forgot about the rest and was only able to process it 2 hours later.
