In Summary: * Happy that my Thursday night College Football Game has early start time. Opening Kickoff is scheduled for 18:00 local time. I should be able to listen to this one in its entirety before my old brain completely fogs over.

In Summary: * An acceptable Monday, this. Got the day's main chore (my weekly laundry) all done. Though unable to find a college football game tonight, I did find a college basketball game with a live radio feed. And with an early enough start time that I should be able to listen to the whole game before my brain shuts down for the night.

In Summary: * This Saturday had its high points: both college football games I cheer for won their respective games, and that brought smiles to my face, but the highest point was the wife taking me out for lunch at a favorite restaurant. Since I'm basically home bound, every opportunity to be out around other people enjoying my self is more precious than you can probably imagine.

In Summary: * Good thing I'm mostly a radio guy. Dealing now with a macular degeneration situation which has effectively blinded my right eye. The earliest my eye doc could get me into a retina specialist is Thursday of next week. We expect he'll inject some medicine into my eye to stop a little blood vessel from bleeding. Then we'll see whatever additional treatment might be in order.
