In Summary: * Major operation today was bagging and properly storing peanuts in-shell. I purchased 10 lbs of peanuts, salted in shell, for the wife because she likes to snack on them. They arrived in a big sturdy bag in a very sturdy box. The wife was afraid they'd spoil before she got to them. So I did a little research and found if kept dry and at room temperature they'd easily be good for 1 to 2 months, if refrigerated they'd last from 4 to 6 months, if frozen they'd last for 1 to 2 years. So bagged all the peanuts in gallon sized ziplock bags, left one out in the dining room for easy access and snacking, put two in the fridge, and put the rest out in our chest freezer.

In Summary: * This has been a very good Saturday in the Roscoe-verse. I woke much earlier today than I usually do on Saturdays. Worries about a situation that is outside my control kept me from returning to bed. So I applied myself to normal chores around this joint. And focused on my prayers throughout the day. Really focused on them. By midday those worries that woke me had mostly left me, though the particular situation remains unchanged. And this evening, I'm happy to say I'll be able to retire with peace of mind.
