Roscoe's Story

This is my story and I'm stick'n to it.

Prayers, etc.: * 05:00 – Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel * 06:00 – praying The Angelus * 07:10 – praying the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary in English, followed by the Memorare * 07:40 – Readings from today's Mass include – Lesson: Wis 7:7-14 and Gospel: Matt 5:13-19. * 08:00 – making an Act of Contrition then making an Act of Spiritual Communion, followed by praying Archbishop Vigano’s prayer for USA & President Trump. * 10:30 – Today's Morning Devotion (Psalm 147) found in Benedictus Magazine, followed by the Canticle of Zacharius (Lk 1:68-79). * 10:45 – Thought for today from Archbishop Lefebvre: God does not want us to be on the fence, to appear hesitating: “I love You, but I don't love You that much; a little bit, but not much; I love myself also – I can't help it...” and we are always on the fence, always hesitating in our love of God. That can only be displeasing to our Lord who proved His love for us so undeniably. So we have to do everything we can to avoid venial sin, and I think that there is no greater motive for noble souls to reach that point than to meditate on the love of our Lord for us. * 12:00 – praying The Angelus * 16:30 – prayerfully reading The Athanasian Creed. * 18:00 – The Angelus, followed by today's Evening Devotion (Psalm 138) found in Benedictus Magazine, followed by the Magnificat: Luke 1:46-55 * 18:45 – praying the hour of Compline for tonight according to the Traditional Pre-Vatican II Divine Office, followed by Fr. Chad Ripperger's Prayer of Command to protect my family, my sons, my daughter and her family, my granddaughters and their families, my great grandchildren, and everyone for whom I have responsibility from any demonic activity. – And that followed by the Friday Prayers of the Association of the Auxilium Christianorum.

Mt. 25:33-46). When we reread these words in the Gospel, it is definitely chilling. If we judge it from God's point of view, sin is something infinitely grave because we disobey, we rebel in a way against God, against our Creator, against Him who is our everything. Therefore, the offense is very grave.

Even in human relations, it is obviously less grave to have a conflict with a simple police officer than with the head of State. And there is no greater authority, no more perfect authority than God's own. So we cannot conceive of anything more grave than putting ourselves in conflict with God Himself. * 12:00 – praying The Angelus * 16:15 – prayerfully reading The Athanasian Creed. * 18:00 – The Angelus, followed by today's Evening Devotion (Psalm 143) found in Benedictus Magazine, followed by the Magnificat: Luke 1:46-55 * 19:30 – praying the hour of Compline for tonight according to the Traditional Pre-Vatican II Divine Office, followed by Fr. We beg God that all the acts of our day might be sheltered from anything that may harm us. And the Church goes into detail. “May our tongues be restrained, keeping far away the horror of discord,” so that no violent dispute arise among us. The tongue is often the instrument of such a thing. It is easy to get angry during a conversation; we lose our self-control and we say things we may regret later, but which set off that opposition between souls, between hearts.

“May our eyes be veiled,” so we won't be attached to the vanities of the world: honor, glory, money, material goods, a good reputation... There are so many things that can turn us away from our Lord! * 12:00 – praying The Angelus * 16:35 – prayerfully reading The Athanasian Creed. * 18:00 – The Angelus, followed by today's Evening Devotion (Psalm 137) found in Benedictus Magazine, followed by the Magnificat: Luke 1:46-55 * 18:40 – praying the hour of Compline for tonight according to the Traditional Pre-Vatican II Divine Office, followed by Fr. So we have to dispossess ourselves and win ourselves back in order to give ourselves completely to our Lord. For that, we are going to need generosity every single day: not just once, not just twice. Every day, we have to ask ourselves: “In what domains do I take myself for my own master, as though I belonged to myself?”

From this point of view, the prayers of Prime are full of meaning. Every morning, they put us totally in the hands of our Lord. They make us beg our Lord to help us to be totally under His motion, under His dependence. * 12:00 – praying The Angelus * 16:10 – prayerfully reading The Athanasian Creed. * 18:00 – praying The Angelus, followed by today's Evening Devotion (Psalm 129) found in Benedictus Magazine, followed by the Magnificat: Luke 1:46-55 * 18:45 – praying the hour of Compline for tonight according to the Traditional Pre-Vatican II Divine Office, followed by Fr.
