I just finished coding in the HTML part of my Personal Portfolio project. I removed some code that doesn't make senses or I just don't want in my code. The next part to code in is the CSS code base. It has a lot of helpful comments so it will be one interesting learning experience.
I just added the credits to the original project from the FreeCodeCamp authors. It is a sign of respect of their work which I will also change significantly in my own style.
After some short coding session, I finished the majority of the Projects section. The only thing left to insert is my personal projects and their respective images.
This is going to be pretty fun. I will be putting in my previous projects that I did in the FreeCodeCamp “Responsive Web Design Certification” projects. Some of them are really simple and kind of painful to look at. But yeah, I coded those projects by hand. And that is one thing that I am pretty proud.
I had one interesting coding session today. The navigation section is finished with some little changes for my style. Currently, I am at the projects section. Putting my personal projects in here will be fun to see the progress I had done in this coding journey.
After one long time of thinking, I am back writing to this little blog I had created. Anyways, I started coding the structure of my Personal Portfolio Web page project. I am using the FreeCodeCamp pen project as my foundation for my project. Of course, after I finished coding by hand the entire project, I will put my personal style and modify it to my liking. I am one project away from getting the Responsive Web Design Certification from FreeCodeCamp. What amazing progress I had in the past two months.
After having several week of being very busy from school, I am back to do some coding. It feels nice to start again. Anyways, I had started to code the web structure of my Product Landing Page project. I had thought of a little brand that my classmates and I made from months ago. It's called “ProSpecT”. We made this little brand for our school activity. It was a shoe or clothing brand that is targeted at athletes. I am going to design the product landing page with sport-related designs to fit the brand.
While I was coding in the web structure, I realized that I needed to have a image for the brand logo. The problem is that I am coding it in Codepen.io and the “img tag” only support image links. I spent the rest of the coding session finding a suitable image hosting service for my images. I found several services but I haven't chose one yet. Maybe tomorrow I will decide on it.
After some time of coding and researching, I finally finished my Survey Form project. It has a simple design to it, which is just a light green background. Good thing that it is finally finished.
Anyways, here is the link to my Survey Form project:
After some simple searching in the FreeCodeCamp database of helpful information, I found out the reason to make the choices of a group of radio buttons be able to only select one option.
I actually learned this during my time of learning the lessons of the “Responsive Web Design Certification” of FreeCodeCamp. And I forgot it after learning it. Rather interesting right?
After some hectic days from school, I managed to find some time for coding. I am making quite nice progress with my survey form. I really spent about 10-30 minutes of my time trying to figure out the HTML for a dropdown option.
After some searching in the FreeCodeCamp resources, I figured out it was the “Select” tag. It is quite of obvious now that I think about it. But at least, I stayed with it until the very end of the discovery.
That's all for my coding session. See you next time!
