New things, new things

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8 inch) just now. Brand new. Not refurbished. 32 GB. Android 7.1.1. USB-C. etc. #goodtimes

Fucker didn't cost a lot, either. Very affordable (under 2 bills)

Next-day delivery on it, too (which cost $19)

I remember the first time i ever saw a tablet IRL and held one in my hands (a tablet PC we called them back then, lmao). It was a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (8 inch, also, i believe) and man, did i fall in love with that thing!

This is a WiFi-only model so i will be tethering it to the Kyocera phone (obvs), and i will basically never touch my phone unless i am woolking oot the door. lol.

The #RPi has been put to rest in the closet. I just...don't want to mess w/ that thing anymore.

I look forward to the bullshit i will get myself into on the Tab 8 (i will refer to it as). I won't have to nestle and baby it like i do the Kyocera because i won't have to worry (as much) about battery life, processing power, yada yada yada.

By the way, i was seriously indecisive as FUCK today about what thing or things i was going to get. I have been jamming ard on those #minimalism videos on YT and all that shit does is make me feel bad about owning anything. LMAO! Ironically, none of those schmucks are even gd minimalists! They just make videos about the subject! Nevertheless, i am not making this decision based on “minimalism” (idegaf about the subject v much these days, tbh). This is a decision of “luxury”. A “treat”, if you will. It will bring me hella joy :)

I still got $$$ for all the necessary things i have to use $$$ for in life (such as bills, and....yeah. Bills). In fact all those things are about done being paid for now. I just need to use the ATM tomorrow (or, today, after the sun rises) and get some $$$ out that i owe the 'rents, and then the rest o' the $$$ i can just “get by” with. Haha.

I live paycheck to paycheck and, yea, it gets tiresome. We'll see if there comes a time where i am not in this situation. I hope someday.

re-doing the #budget

so i decided that since i had all sorts of shit scribbled down on my budget and that i had a lot of things written in the margins, i would just go ahead and start over. So i did. I now have things exactly where i want them to be and when it comes to buy anything (whatever it is that i may or may not buy, i may save the $$$), then nothing will be pre-decided. #goodtimes

As for this evening, there was a pretty steady warm rain here in STL and it was friggin' beautiful and now i have the sliding glass door open and i am enjoying the (cooled-off) #stlwx and a brilliant sunset. Really enjoying this evening. I also had a p good noodles dinner, so....happy :)

i had a good day at the 'rents

cleaned the fuck out of the back sunroom windows, moved a few things around, picked up some supplies for my apt, all is good. now i am chillin' as the sun sets and gonna make a (small) dinner tonight and...yeah. #goodtimes

i am also thinking about how cool (and painful) the tattoo i am getting next Friday will be. Gonna cost abt $250, is my guess. I will have more than enough. Up until next Friday i have nada on my calendar, so, could possibly be a quite boring week :/:/:/

Gung-Ho About Tattoos

i have been lately. i really need to get ink ASAP. I am definitely going to go to Steel & Ink Tattoo Studio in S St Louis County as soon as payday arrives (not too far away) & get a small wrist tat + a big ass spiderweb on the crotch of my left arm (inner-elbow). I REALLY wanna finish this sleeve!

idgaf about other expenses (other than the necessary bills & shit), i just want this DONE! :)

i will continue to review my budget to see what can stay and what can go BUT, i think ~$200 will do me just fine for the small amt of work that i want to get. It is all single-needle and it will be drawn on and not stencil (both of them, i would imagine), so, the whole thing will be in-&-out. #goodtimes

i still have some big pieces that i will have to get done on my left arm before i can start the sleeving process (eagle on forearm, something (anything) big on the back of the bicep) but when those pieces are complete, I will be good to go. There are, of course, the two touch-ups that i wanna do sometime, but that is going to come when i do the sleeving process. idk how much the sleeve will cost, i just know i gotta put some money together cause them bishes be expensive!

There is, of course, the possibility that i just keep all the ink separate on the arm & keep it hard as fuck like that, but a sleeve is going to happen one way or the other eventually.

Me? i am trying to figure out what time we are going to the 'rents tomorrow for Mother's Day. We are going to be cleaning up quite a bit around the house. Seasonal thing.

And as for today, i am chilling inside w/ the AC blasting & just thinking about what to write about (as usual).

i'm a spoiled brat

lol. the momskee dropped off some groceries as i am sore all over & had no food, so i just stuffed my face & have a lot of groceries now. haha. I am having a Monster blue rn and it is fucking delicious.

anyway, it is a warm, beautiful eve here in S St Louis County and i am enjoying it a great deal. Seems like the sun doesn't set until 9:30PM these days, but i am more than OK w/ that.

i will def be up late bc i slept from like 8PM last night until 10AM this morning. feeling r.e.s.t.e.d. and w.o.k.e.

i have decided to go back to vaping starting v soon here. tomorrow AM i am going to order quite a bit of vaping supplies & juices, etc & go neck-deep into that “culture” again. I am so sick of traditional cigarettes & the nicotine lozenges barely work. i will be happy w/ this decision.

as for right now, i am drinking coffee (or will be in about three minutes) for the second time of the night (morning) & smoking the tongue-burning Edgefields that i have grown to hate very much.

a lot of big things happening w/ the e-book tomorrow as well. But i will update everyone when i actually have made PROGRESS besides just talking about it (i have done enough of that already). Long story short: it is ready to be released to the world and i will be doing press releases and all that shit as planned. #goodtimes
