So Thursday. Spent several hours through the morning and early afternoon hours going over my personal budget, getting a clearer picture of my situation, then looking for a way to make it better. Not that things are bad. Far from it. But... it would be nice if I could make them better faster.
Tonight I've got Thursday Night Football with pregame coverage starting at 6:00 PM. Again, if I can make it to halftime before falling asleep I'll feel good.

Winding down a rather successful Wednesday, watching the IU Lady Hoosiers playing the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles in their college basketball game. Quite entertaining.
I was able to handle the day's chores and keep up my scheduled prayers and work on my chess games without any trouble. It seems the Roscoe-verse is finally returning to normal following the long Thanksgiving Day weekend. That's a good thing.

In Correspondence Chess (CC) play, very few games end in checkmate. Most of us CC players have so many games in progress at once that when any one game reaches the point where both players realize that checkmate is inevitable, the player in the losing position will resign the game, congratulate the winner, and both players will then have more time to focus attention on their other games.

This Saturday is moving along nicely. I'll have college football games keeping me company until bedtime.
The 1st game, at halftime now, is the classic Big Ten rivalry game of Ohio St. vs Michigan. The two are tied at 10-10 presently. Later this afternoon I'll see one of my all time favorite teams, Notre Dame, playing the USC Trojans. The Irish are favored to win.
Tonight I'll watch the classic “Old Oaken Bucket Game” between the IU Hoosiers and Purdue Boilermakers. Go Hoosiers!
