Near the end of a pretty good day. Have enjoyed entertaining baseball games throughout the day. Started with an IU game, followed that with Rangers vs Cubs, and my night finds me listening to another IU game.

Question of the moment: which baseball game shall I follow this afternoon. I have two favorite baseball teams: IU Hoosiers playing at the collegiate level, and the Texas Rangers MLB team. This afternoon both my teams are playing at the same time, opening pitches scheduled for 2:00 PM. That's 2 hours from now, so I've got a little time to choose. Decisions, decisions...

A quiet Tuesday winds down. A few basic financial moves this morning, and the few basic household chores throughout the day, placing an online grocery delivery order, keeping up with my daily prayer regimen and its pre-Lent changes, working on all my pending CC games, a bit of reading, and that's about it. Not a big day with any special elements, but a good day in which I quietly took I took care of basic business. Nice.

This Saturday has flown by! My goodness! Followed a lot of baseball games, both college and MLB, on TV and via the radio, and before I knew it the wife had gone to bed early and I've decided to do the same. Not a bad Friday, all things considered. This morning was productive, finally did a good sort and organize of paperwork and correspondence back in the home office. Then had good sports to follow through the afternoon: MLB Cactus League Spring Training Game early followed by a college baseball game late afternoon into early evening. Now tonight I've got a good college basketball playing over the radio.

Really cold (for us) weather keeps me indoors as much as possible today. Sports entertainment available to me includes a Cactus League MLB Spring Training Game in the early afternoon (Cubs vs Dodgers) and a college women's basketball game this evening (Ohio St. vs IU Hoosiers).

Another quiet day winds down. As we move through the pre-Lent Septuagesimatide Season I've added Light of the World: Daily Meditations on the Traditional Mass by Dom Benedict Baur to my daily prayer regimen. The meditations and prayers in this book are really quite good.
