Exhausted, as I should be. This afternoon I mowed the front yard. Rather than complain about how wiped out that little bit of exercise made me, I should be happy that I was able to do it. Most of last year the arthritic hips had me totally sidelined from that chore. Though doing it drains me, at least I'm able to manage it by myself again now.

I was able to catch the Black King in a nifty Queen – Rook Combination Checkmate yesterday in this CC game we started on April 22nd. It took both my Bishops to help set this up.

The 2024 Haybarn Reunion! This will dominate my day.
The wife is a regular bingo player and this is her / our favorite bingo hall. She plays regularly, but I usually go only once per year: to this Annual Haybarn Reunion.
We'll want to be there by 3:30 PM to get in when the doors open, and we'll probably stay until nearly midnight. Any personal chores, chess work, or correspondence will need to be taken care of this morning.

Late afternoon Wednesday and I'm enjoying a peaceful day.
Last night's full sleep was the best I've had in I don't know how long. Slept solidly from the moment head hit pillow until the 1st alarm sounded this morning.
Tempted to start cross-posting these micro-blog posts to my Telegram Channel where comments are allowed. Wonder if that will generate any kind of a response.
