This was Eclipse Monday, but we didn't get to see it here. We're a few miles to the East of where it could be seen, and our heavy cloud cover would have blocked the view anyway. We DID see the partial eclipse of 2 or 3 years ago, and had great fun with that. And friends and family got to see this one and shared happy pictures.
Had a phone conversation this morning with an old friend and fellow officer that I used to serve with when I was active in the Knights of Columbus. It was nice to touch base with him again.
