I think this is a calliope hummingbird, sitting on a yucca stalk near the hummingbird feeder outside our dining room window. We get a lot of black-chinned hummingbirds around here, but this guy is different.
Taken with a LUMIX GX1, with a Panasonic 100-300mm zoom lens, cranked all the way out (600 mm-effective).
We have some awfully pretty skies here in New Mexico. This was taken this evening, looking northeast from our place near Eldorado at Santa Fe. The sunset was pretty, but nothing spectacular, but the way it lit up the towering clouds to the east was pretty special. I hope this never gets old.
Just a little test to see how the writing behaves from my iPhone. Does the JavaScript mess with text selection?
And how about going back to edit after the fact? That’s not too bad once I figured out where to find the edit button.
There’s the scrolling issue with the text hiding behind the keyboard. That’s not great, but I can usually scroll the text up so I can see it as I’m writing. Except sometimes when iOS wants to move the selection point instead of scrolling.
And I seem to remember some markdown, though I’ll need a refresher on that.
