Bits Of Good

Note: This is an early preview of the XRPLORER User Interface. At the time of writing the database was still being filled in the background and therefore data shown in charts is not up to date. I wish to express my gratitude to Thomas Silkjaer for inviting me to have a sneak peek into the work behind the scenes of XRPLORER and allowing to share an early preview in XRPLORE. And I know it can be tricky but just remember: XRPLORER is this cool project and XRPLore is this blog :).

This edition is a very special one, as it is the first sneak peek by XRPLore at an XRPL project prior to its release.

Enter:

XRPLORER is a groundbreaking XRPL data analytics and forensics platform which differs from all XRPL block explorers in production today, as it leverages on graph database technology rather than gathering the data from the XRP Ledger directly. This unique characteristic allows XRPLORER to offer enhanced data analysis capabilities, like fetching certain type of transactions for specific time frames as the XRPL data will have been fully loaded into a graph database upon its release and will be updated after each ledger closure.

The Index Page

Although the utility of the database is mostly leveraged on via APIs, the XRPLORER UI is a very intuitive showcase of the potential of this technology.

First things first, the block explorer. To check it out, I entered the XRP address from XRPLapps used to tip XRPL validators.

Clicking on Load the chart brings you this insight on the XRP flow to and from the account (Note how the upper part are tips received mostly from the XRP Tip Bot -wallet rPEPPER..– and the lower part shows the tips being sent to each of the ten XRPL validators that accept tipping:

Interestingly, in addition to the latest transactions and account activations on the left, the account overview shows the status: Activated and quite a few details about the account set up on the right side

Other charts available on the block explorer (exclusively for Coil subscribers) are the following:

XRP balance development, showing XRP balance over time.

Account activity trends per day of the week.

Transaction breakdown

Also, exclusive to Coil subscribers, the Index Page features a set of charts with that you can browse through by clicking on the arrows on either side of the chart:

Daily payments across the XRPL where you can select any currency, which can also be either shown by value or count of payments:

◾️Daily Transactions over the last 90 days where either you can visualize all transactions, or filter for specific transaction types (payments, trust lines set, accounts set, escrow related, etc). For example, here you can see the escrows created over the previous 90 days:

◾️ Daily Account Activations which can help you look at adoption trends (or unusual account activation activity for forensics purposes) over the last 90 days:

◾️ Daily Closed Ledgers in the XRPL over the last 90 days that also allow for trend analysis on the ledger activity.

◾️ Daily Average Ledger Close Time and Daily Average

Transactions per Ledger charts over the last 90 days, which are somewhat correlated (the higher number of transactions per ledger, the longer each ledger to be closed).

Underneath the chart section, tables containing the fifteen most recent activated accounts and also payment transactions across the XRPL are displayed.

Forensics

XRP Forensics, the XRP Community driven effort to help prevent and identify fraud in the XRP Ledger, will bring its expertise on board the framework of XRPLORER. Combined with the flexibility and depth with which the XRPL data can be queried via the graph database representation, XRPLORER will be primed to become the leader watchdog within the XRPL.

Analytics

Similarly to the enhancements in forensics work, the graph database representation of the XRPL will also be a game changer in terms of analytics, as it will enable highly customized queries both in terms of type of transactions and time frames.

APIs

APIs are not covered in detail in this sneak peek, you will have to wait a bit more but for sure XRPLORER aims to enable APIs backed by the graph database.
Some of the plans include an XRPL API that will allow direct querying of the graph database.

The Blog

XRPLORER's blog, accessible in the top right corner of the index page is actually in Coil platform. You can check it out and follow them at https://coil.com/u/xrplorer. Don`t miss out on their latest post: A Deep Dive into IOUs

XRPLORER on Twitter

To grasp a better understanding of the hard work behind XRPLORER, follow their Twitter account: @xrplorer, which is not only providing regular news on the progress of the beta phase but also has tweeted out some sneak previews like this one showing how the filters in the charts work:

For our Coil Subscribers, we have a short interview with the founder of XRPLORER, Thomas Silkjaer, who has been extremely kind to spare XRPLore his time into answering a few questions on the team working on the project and the advantages behind graph database technology. Check it out 👀

Dear Coil Subscriber: By reading this post you have helped fund a home for a family in need via the One More Home XRP fundraiser that supports New Story Charity. Thank you for your support!

They say time flies when you're having fun. This is exactly what comes to my mind as I realize that the One More Home campaign has been ongoing for a bit over a year now. Thanks to the astonishing support from the XRP Community, my family and friends, the last year hasn't only been fun, it has been unforgettably impactful as together we have donated to New Story Charity so far $3,425 and reached a balance of 43,443.64539 XRP (worth US$ 10,145.19 at the time of writing) in One More Home's XRP Tip Bot Account.

This first year has also been an outstanding learning experience for me personally:

◾️ I have learned from the Good Souls Group that there are no boundaries or time zones that can stop like minded friends from taking action and making change.

◾️ From the Content Builders Club, I have learned that writing and creating content is exponentially more engaging when you form part of a team that genuinely cares about supporting and encouraging you in your journey.

◾️ The XRP Community has taught me about generosity and the true power of micro-donations, after sending over 18000 (yes, you read that correctly) tips via the XRP Tip Bot to the One More Home campaign.

◾️ And since the start of the campaign, I have learned much more from New Story Charity about the complexity and the extent of the global inadequate housing crisis, and how much hard work and innovative thinking are needed to make a positive impact.

The global housing crisis is not going away unless we get out of our comfort zone and take action. After having been presented with the opportunity, I have decided to bring the One More Home campaign along and join The Architects, a program recently created by New Story Charity to enable long-term sustainable impact by committing to support New Story's communities and fund one home for a family in need per year over a three year period.

The Architects

The Architects contribute to New Story's strategy not only by building three life-changing homes for three families in need but also by helping enable the ability to better forecast community development and via allocation of funds to prove innovations for the social housing sector. You can learn more about the program here:

https://newstorycharity.org/architects/

A Clear Roadmap

Another lesson learned over the last year: Managing donations in digital assets is difficult in the sense that there is never a perfect timing to exchange the raised coins for fiat, as one always wishes to maximize the impact of each donation. This can lead to place the focus too much into the future, overlooking the urgent needs of today.

By joining The Architects, we will now have a clear roadmap where we will fund one more home (pun definitely intended) per year, which will allow for XRP donations to be exchanged more in line with New Story's priorities and needs, while still leaving a window of three years and beyond to allow for XRP adoption and expected increase in value.

The Gameplan

At current XRP prices, the three year commitment is around 45% funded. Given the crypto markets' price action, this figure can go either way at any given time. The idea is to leverage on upward market movements to secure funding in the following sequence:

17969.462186 in ILP/Coil payments and further XRP received via ILP/Coil will be exchanged to cover the first year of the commitment and as much as possible of the second year at any XRP/USD rate.

25474.183204 in XRP Tip Bot and further XRP received via XRP Tip Bot micro donations will be exchanged only after all ILP/Coil balance have been donated to New Story or if XRP price exceeds $0.50.

The idea is to cover New Story's current needs (2020 and hopefully 2021) with the proceeds of this Coil blog, while maximizing the impact of donations received via the XRP Tip Bot during the later part of the commitment (2021 if needed and 2022). You can follow up on the balance of the campaign in Nixer's awesome XRP Tip Bot stats page:

https://xrptipbot-stats.com/userstatistics?user=onemorehome&network=twitter

A Leap Of Confidence

In terms of figures, the commitment is to donate $10K per year over the next three years. This amount, which covers the funding of one home + budget to test innovations, enhance the community, and meet additional housing needs as they arise, is a a big responsibility for One More Home as the funding is 45% secured at current XRP prices.

We are in uncharted territory as adoption of digital assets is in a very early stage. However, I am taking a leap of confidence in my friends, my community and the gameplan so that we are able to bring homes to those who need it the most while helping write a New Story with XRP.

Getting Involved

Little drops of water make a mighty ocean and in this case, these will build a home for a family in need. The One More Home campaign relies now more than ever in the power of micro-donations. You can help by donating to One More Home's XRP Tip Bot account:

**Causeartist – [cause-artist] noun. a person who uses their talents and skills to impact the world.
**

“We are not to be defined by our mistakes, but defined by our purpose.” is the phrase that welcomes you to the about section of Grant Trahant's social enterprise platform appropriately named (as you will discover as you read this interview) Causeartist. This phrase holds a lot of truth in it. In fact, one could also say that mistakes even help you solidify, or even discover your purpose.

I found out about Grant Trahant a few days after the start of the One More Home campaign, when I landed on Causeartist while browsing through the web to learn more about philantropy and social enterprise. Interestingly, once I started thinking about INSPOtlight, Grant's name kept popping up in my mind as the first changemaker I wanted to invite to take part in the blog. “It would be really cool to start the blog by interviewing Grant as he is helping spreading the word about social entrepreneurs and changemakers” I thought, without knowing that Grant would share the incredible and powerful story that you are about to discover.

(RR) Grant, as you mentioned in the about section of your website, Causeartist was conceived due to the lack of coverage on social enterprise . What has been your biggest lesson learned since the foundation of the platform?

(GT) One of the biggest lessons learned is that travel births inspiration. Not just in my experience, but from the hundreds of social entrepreneurs I have spoken with, travel is often the catalyst for starting their social impact business or organization. If you struggling with an idea or creation, take the time out of your life and travel. Go somewhere out of your comfort zone and explore. The other is an oldie, but goodie: always believe and bet on yourself, if you don't no one else will.

(RR) You recently covered the first 3D printed community announced by New Story Charity that has now broken ground in Mexico. What is your take on the use of 3D printing to help fight global homelessness?

(GT) I think it has the chance to change global housing. It is that much of a breakthrough. Not only for the developing world and refugees, but also for developed countries dealing with homelessness and over population. I think companies and governments around the world should be investing in this infrastructure. Imagine being able to build a small office in places around the world quickly, that would help businesses and startups create a physical presence in places they never could have before.

As for the social impact it can have, its endless:

✔️ Having a safe place to be quickly built after natural disasters

✔️ A roof for long term refugees

✔️ Long term homeless individuals

✔️ And for building communities in rural and extreme poor areas around the world
...

Just to name a few impact areas.

This year will surely be an exciting one for this amazing charity organization. Can you share with us a bit about what's in the pipeline for Causeartist in 2020?

(GT) Plan on releasing a new press release wire platform for social impact news, adding a job board to Causeartist to discover social impact jobs, and a social impact events directory.

We chatted a little bit about your generous initiative of donating all the proceed from your music to help others. This interview aims to achieve something very similar as it will be posted in a monetized blog in Coil, and all proceeds will be donated to New Story to help build homes to those in need. I could see in the front page of your album it reads “Buy Music. Build a School” can you tell us some more about the project?

(GT) Back in 2013, I was dealing with deep depression and found that writing was an exercise that really seemed to help. I always loved music, but I could't sing, so after writing and writing, I brought my songs into a local Kansas City music studio and sat down with an amazing producer: Jo Blaq, who taught me how to create songs. We recorded some songs and it really gave me the inspiration to record a full length studio album.

During that time in my life, writing and recording really helped me get through some dark times. After the album was done, I really wanted to make the album mean something beyond just helping me with my depression. I researched a bunch and then remembered an amazing organization I covered on Causeartist called buildOn, who helps build schools in extreme poverty area around the globe.

I decided to donate all proceeds from album sales and streaming royalties to help build a school in rural Haiti. I raised enough money to help build a school in rural Haiti. I actually got to go help with the build and it was an amazing experience. Living with members of a community with no running water or electricity is very humbling. It is something you can never forget, it gives you a real perspective on what issues are facing others everyday.

It also gave me pride that I could help people in the world. By doing what I loved at that moment in my life we helped build a school that will hopefully inspire others to reach beyond their wildest dreams.

After I got back from that trip a family member of mine had just lost his son and left me an emotional voicemail thanking me for making music and how it reminded him of his son and the good memories they had. That was a very powerful moment for me. To me that made all the late nights writing and recording worth it, just to hear someone say that about something you created can have a powerful effect on people. I will never forget that voicemail or the trip to Haiti.

Thank you so much for sharing such a powerful story with us, Grant. I truly hope that your noble action of learning how to create music and share your newfound talent to help others, not only by donating the proceeds of your album to help fund a school in Haiti but also actually go there and build it, inspires many to take action.

Here is one of the songs from Grant's album “Journey of the Soul”...enjoy!

(RR) You wrote an insightful article highlighting crypto currency projects that aim to have a positive impact in the world.

On Twitter there is this application called the XRP Tip Bot that allows you to instantly send micro payments and micro donations over Twitter (form fractions of a cent up to 5 XRP which is about $1 at current prices). What kind of potential do you see in such application in terms of social enterprise and overall?

(GT) I think micro donations and micro giving overall has huge potential. The music is a perfect example, when I released the album all you had to do was listen to the songs and your were making a donation. The power of streaming royalties can be very impactful. As creators we have the power to choose what our royalties go to. We can choose to donate our royalties from music streaming or if you are an actor or comedian you can choose to donate your streaming royalties or just some of them to a cause you care about.

With crypto it makes it easier for the previously unbanked to be part of the economy and that has huge potential to alleviate extreme poverty around the world. With technology and the connection that the internet offers you are already seeing a massive amount of tech jobs being created in places around the world never thought possible. And with crypto becoming more mature there is a payment method that is now possible for someone in Canada to pay a graphic designer in Uganda to help with projects. We truly live in an incredible time in human history.

Crypto also has amazing potential to help with affordable housing, clean water, and hunger issues around the world.

I would like to thank Grant Trahant for having shared his story and perspectives for the first edition of INSPOtlight. I am thrilled and honored to have him as the first changemaker to take part in this new blog.

Coil subscribers get to discover a bit more about Grant's podcast Disruptors for Good.

I'm a big fan of good starts. And for the first edition of XRPLORE in 2020, I am thrilled to cover a project I have been meaning to write about for a few weeks now not only because it is useful platform but also because it offers a great opportunity to learn more about XRP: XRP Toolkit, the cornerstone of Xpring backed Towo Labs' project portfolio and your trustless, non-custodial entry point to the XRP Ledger.

The Tools At Hand

XRP Toolkit (Beta Release v0.4.1) currently offers various levels of support depending on the wallet or method you wish to use to log into the platform. Full support (send payments, set escrows and perform various account settings) is currently offered for Secalot wallets, while partial support (sending payments) is offered for Nano Ledger hardware wallets, and support for Trezor and Ellipal will come soon.

Very conveniently for writing this review (and highly recommended for you to try out and learn more about XRP Toolkit and the XRPL in general) is the possibility of using a Test Account to log in. Just select “Test Account” under Choose Wallet menu, click on Generate Test Account, then Log In with Test Account...

et voila. You have now a balance of 1000 XRP to play with...

Payments

Let's start with payments. For this I took the wallet address of another of my favorite XRPL Projects, XRPL Apps (rMAkB8EWyvqNmj72at3q5dDEAAt4HA1YMA which is the wallet enabled to tip XRPL validators) as the destination and sent it 100 XRP.

After hitting send, a payment confirmation pops up and my balance is now reduced to 900 XRP.

Escrows

Using the same destination address as for payments, let's create an escrow (one of the really handy features of the XRPL) so that 500 zerps are locked and released to the folks at XRPL Apps in one year time:

Now, the Escrow we just created appears under the Active Escrows list, including its owner address, detination, finish date and destination tag and whether the escrow is cancelable:

Settings

On Secalot wallets, there is a wide range of account settings you can adjust on your XRPL address. For example, from linking a Gravatar or a domain to your account, to requiring a destination tag (in the case you are starting your own exchange, for example 😬) or asking for deposit authorization (Useful for entities that need to must know the sender of all transactions it receives, so they can authorize each incoming transaction after the needed checks are done).

XRP Toolkit on Twitter

Since November 2nd, 2018, when the go live of the first beta version was announced, you can follow up for updates about the project on @XRPToolkit, their official Twitter account.

https://twitter.com/xrptoolkit/status/1058485824537399298?s=20

This tweet a few days after the go live, perfectly illustrates what XRP Toolkit is aiming to achieve. An enhanced interaction between the main hardware wallets and the XRPL:

https://twitter.com/xrptoolkit/status/1060615702766411776?s=20

And here is the official announcement of Towo Labs becoming part of Xpring in October 2019. An epic achievement and well deserved recognition!

https://twitter.com/XpringDev/status/1184381611208347648

The Takeaway

You can notice right from the screenshots in this blog that there are “Learn More” links throughout the interface. This is fantastic as each of the links takes you to the respective section at https://xrpl.org/docs.html making the platform an amazing learning experience. I really want to encourage you to head over to xrptoolkit.com, create a Test Account and learn more about this state of the art tech known as the XRPL.🧭

Attention👏🏽 Coil👏🏽 Subscribers👏🏽

Bonus content for this edition of XRPLORE includes a chat with Markus Alvila, Founder of Towo Labs and creator of XRP Toolkit! There's o much insight you might want to check it out before heading to the Toolkit!

The people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do. -Steve Jobs

There is always a place for inspiring people and their stories. And Coil is no exception. To kick start the new decade, I'm starting a new blog in the Coil platform where changemakers and their stories are placed in the spotlight for the Coil Community to learn more about them.

Changemakers are those unstoppable individuals determined enough to challenge the status quo, driving the changes they want to see happen. My new blog, named In Spotlight, aims to capture the trajectory of changemakers from around the globe and from all walks of life to bring insightful posts to the Coil community that will include extended content for Coil subscribers.

Social media, Twitter more specifically, offers a unique opportunity to learn about lots of cool projects, and even to reach out and connect with their creators and advocates to gain further insight. In Spotlight seeks to find and create meaningful, inspiring content through these possibilities and help spread the word about changemakers while donating Coil stream proceeds to the One More Home XRP fundraiser.

In Spotlight, together with The Blab and XRPLORE, will complete (for now at least) my blog line up. The first edition of In Spotlight will be posted in the next days and Coil subscribers get to discover below these lines, which is the first changemaker to be featured.

In tune with all of 2019, December has also been an epic month for the Good Souls Group, for the One More Home campaign, and also for New Story Charity. In the GSG we are closing the year (and the decade) with a momentum that makes me really excited to see what 2020 has in store for all of us.

Good Souls Group News

The Internet of Giving is growing, and the Good Souls Group is proving to be one of its key enablers. New donation streams that further expand the ecosystem, and new charities becoming members of the GSG are the highlights of the last month of this decade.

Coil subscribers can now stream XRP donations to the @GoodXRP charities when visiting non-monetized websites via the Puma Browser!

This is a huge endorsement from the folks at Puma browser, so a very special thanks for having added the charities into the options to donate.

https://twitter.com/GoodXrp/status/1199668078428246016?s=20

Casa de Amparo

On December 2nd, the Good Souls Group announced Casa de Amparo, the 9th charity to come on board as a member. Since then, donations received through the Good XRP splitter bot also go to this amazing organization that to support those affected by and at risk of child abuse and neglect.

https://twitter.com/GoodXrp/status/1201486679095357440?s=20

250K XRP Milestone

During December, the milestone of a quarter million XRP raised by the Good XRP charities was achieved, thanks to the outstanding and continuous support of our community.

More details can be found in https://www.goodxrp.org

One More Home News

The XRP fundraiser for One More Home started officially on January 3rd, which is when the XRP Tip Bot account was rolled out and at the time of writing, the balance of the campaign is 33322.55567 XRP, although the total amount raised is 34032.55567 XRP as 710 XRP were already exchanged for USD and transferred to New Story back in June.

You can check out the progress of the campaign thanks to Nixer's amazing XRP Tip Bot Stats Page:

Coil Boost Program

Here, I want to share the story behind this blog making it to Coil's boosting pilot for creators. It turns out, I was already writing every now and then in the XRP Community Blog. I really loved it and although I got great support from the community, specially from Hodor and many of the fellow authors there, I had the feeling there was something missing.

Although the world of XRP is really exciting and rivers of figurative ink can be written on the news that break every day, as honored as I am to write in the community blog, I also wanted to give my blog a different focus and have the flexibility of writing about different topics, something that was not possible there, given its strong XRP focus...and by then the Coil platform was announced.

My first post in the platform was a few days after the platform was rolled out in May: Why One More Home?, a write-up explaining the reasons why I decided to launch this campaign and also why I decided to support New Story Charity.

Although I found the Coil platform as a great space to write right from the first post, big life events (the arrival of my second child :)) and a bit of lack of discipline made me only come back to post regularly in October with blogs series like XRPLore and The Blab. Thanks to the strong support and encouragement from the XRP Community, I kept going and received the news that this blog had been boosted by Coil, resulting in a 8222.348682 XRP payment that was sent to the One More Home campaign on December 18th.

I'd like to express my gratitude specially to the XRP Community members that have shared with me their time to do interviews, chat about their XRPL projects. Also a huge shout out to the Good Souls Group and Content Builders Club for their support and encouragement.

The One More Home GIF

On December 18th, the campaign received an awesome surprise after Jonny Lawrence, (I think most talented GIF creator in the XRP Community) tweeted out the most awesome GIF ever: an animation of the One More Home logo:

https://twitter.com/_JonnyLawrence/status/1207308605252345858?s=20

Jonny's talent is simply outstanding. I really like how the mission of helping end homelessness was perfectly captured in this artwork, which the campaign will thankfully and proudly sport after Jonny so generously shared.

Some of other creations from Jonny include an animation of our friends over at Company of Dogs and also some famous GIFs about XRP.

New Story Charity News

On December 11th, New Story Charity announced the first 3D printed community in the world had broken ground. The best part is that this technological breakthrough will first help those who need it the most, starting with a community in Mexico.

https://twitter.com/NewStoryCharity/status/1204762412228005888?s=20

The news got tons of attention by mainstream media worldwide and not without reason, as this is a breakthrough that will change the game in the fight against homelessness.

You can check out the video about this exciting development here:

https://youtu.be/PbgCu0aUobE

And as 2020 looms, the drive to support a fast, scalable, safe and affordable way of building homes via a fast, scalable, safe and affordable way of sending value across borders is stronger than ever.

I didn't want 2019 to end before doing an interview with Sincerely George, the year of the first edition of the XRP Community Choice Awards, which is one of her biggest contributions to the ecosystem as 22682 XRP were sent to the XRP Community Fund, an official foundation registered in The Netherlands that supports development on the XRPL. You can find more info about the fund on this Coil post.

SG, is a powerhouse of the community hosting the XRP Community Update on YouTube, and also blogging about XRPL builders right here in Coil.

**Hello SG! Welcome to The Blab!
**

Perhaps, we can start with a question about what motivates Sincerely George? What are you most passionate about?

(SG) Helping people move from poverty to self-sustaining & prospering is something that really inspires me, I just haven’t realized how to do that yet. I’m most passionate about helping people who have difficulty seeing themselves as “successful” or “capable” to achieve their goals. Helping people change their life by viewing life differently and finding opportunities, where they believed there were none, is what I’m especially passionate about.

(RR) On that topic, I'd like to share with you this insightful blog post about addressing the root causes of Poverty:

https://newstorycharity.org/2019/11/causes-of-poverty/

I discovered New Story at the beginning of this year and I really admire the approach they have taken to tackle the root causes of poverty:

New Story believes in pioneering change at the community level. We believe that one way to break the poverty cycle is by providing adequate shelter, as this is one of the most fundamental ways to improve the health, education, safety, freedom, and economic opportunities of communities living in global poverty.

(RR) I think we agree on the fact that ending poverty is an act of justice, and we should all do our part to help achieve it.

Do you think there is something that absolutely everyone in the entire world can agree on?

YES!

Photo by Tim Mossholder on Unsplash

Everyone in the world can agree that authentic natural belly laughter is soothing. In the fleeting moment when you are “laughing out loud,” your worries melt away.

If we could have a “global” consensus on this...I would be right there when the votes came in leading the charge to INSPIRE people to set a daily goal to make 3 people laugh every day and inspire others to do the same.

Once this became a GLOBAL way of being (habit), I would help them laugh their way into KNOWING that “food for all”, “prosperity for all” and GREATER LEVELS of “world peace” are all within reach.

(RR) Laughter as a random act of kindness. I really like that idea! I think it would be great if you got extra points if those three people you made laugh are complete strangers!

Since I started following you on Twitter, I found the name you have adopted in social media is quite captivating: Sincerely George. Where does the name come from?

(SG) I want the words I speak to be spoken with sincerity. I want people to know I will always speak my truth – or – I will work to find a common ground where we can speak positively about an issue. I don’t back down from tough discussions – but raised in a house full of debate I don’t feel the need to “prove my position”, so I will often just walk away from discussions where seeking deeper understanding is not an end goal. Fighting, bickering, calling each other stupid or wrong == Low Energy Discussions. I have no desire to become “entangled” in low energy thoughts and discussion.

I desire to positively impact the world with my words, views, and knowledge. I SINCERELY want to help people overcome hard life challenges with COMPASSION, HONESTY, and my SINCERE BELIEF that the life they envision for themselves is possible.

At the same time, I realize that 95% of the world thinks low vibration thoughts. The car, the look, the dress, the something on TV will make them feel better. Many of them believe they will be happy “when their kids, spouse, or their boss just behave in a certain way”.

Most people do not see a problem with the way they think think. – They don’t want to hear the truth about their thoughts cause their suffering.

I am DEFINITELY NOT PERFECT! I love skinny jeans, dying my hair and must have my perfect foundation too! I lust after a car, and wish my apartment was bigger. Yet – contentment, gratitude & optimism are the basis of my thinking. The cup is not ½ full or empty – it’s over-flowing.

I center my life around high-vibration people, places and things that enable me to live my life “OUT LOUD” – savoring the moment & be sincerely blissful in most moments. When my energy is “filled up” – My bliss overflows & I gush LOVE SINCERELY all over those around me. The sincerity of my love, the fact that I am seeking to make their soul smile and don’t judge them by their “meat suit” or worldly position – makes people smile, relax, laugh, and lean into co-created happiness with me.

I’m a live and in-person type of “human”. My phone is a tool, not a leash, and I miss most notifications because everything is silenced and I’m totally focused on the present experience.

(RR) It's really great that you go by such an authentic name that reflects who you are and what you really want from life. I think it's a great daily reminder to keep on track.

Let's talk a bit about traveling...What’s the most beautiful beach you’ve been to?

(SG) Wow that’s a tough one. I’ve been to some really beautiful beaches. For now – I think I will select Madeira Beach in Florida. I lived there and loved walking down to watch the sunsets. I’d stay after others had left and listened to the waves while watching the lightning showers over the water.

(RR) What character in a movie do you think could have been great, but the actor they cast blew it? Who should have played the role instead?

(SG) This is a really, really tough question. First – I don’t watch very many movies, Second – I don’t know actors/actresses very well. I’m more of an “in person” – people in my everyday type of person.

Nonetheless, thinking of “who played what role” and “who could have done it better” – Colin Kaepernick comes to mind. He was the player who chose to kneel in the football games to raise awareness of police brutality/racial profiling of non-white people in the United States.

Hindsight being 20/20 – I think Mike Anderson would have filled this role better. He is a veteran and perhaps the concerns that Colin was trying to raise wouldn’t have been turned into a discussion regarding anti-patriotic behavior, but instead held the topic focused on a core issue that weakens the U.S. daily.

In my eyes, strife between the ethnic groups in America erodes the nation’s ability to be “a superpower” because power requires all parts of the “body” to work together fearlessly.

It’s like walking around all day with a pebble in your shoe – it reduces your ability to run and think grand thoughts.

**(RR) Do you like things to be carefully planned or do you prefer to just go with the flow?
**

(SG) I’m always “making plans”, “dreaming big” – but in the end – I just go with the flow – executing the plan, but allowing Spirit to work it’s magic so everything works out better than I expect. — Most times. :0)

But to achieve the next level of success in my life – which requires overcoming deep-rooted fears – I think 2020 will be carefully planned so I don’t run away from my dreams – again. Wish me luck :0)

Best of luck, SG! And thank you for having shared with The Blab. It's been a pleasure to have this interview with you and to have learned more about you.

And thank you for putting together such a great playlist including some of your favorite bands and artists for Coil subscribers right below these lines. I had a really pleasant time editing the interview while listening to your favorite jams!

Dear XRP Community,

We've done it! I am thrilled to announce that this blog has made it to Coil's boost pilot, and as a result, today the One More Home campaign has received 8222.348682 XRP from Coil as a boost payment for the articles shared with you here during November.

Whether you have taken part of The Blab, helped raise awareness about this blog by sharing it with your friends, shared your time and insight on the cool details about your project for XRPLore, or just by reading the posts from last month, you have actively helped build a home for a family in need. How powerful is that?

Just like New Story Charity has recently shown the World that the global housing crisis can be tackled by leveraging on out of the box thinking and cutting edge tech like applying 3D Printing into home-building, we in the XRP Community have now proven that together we can help make change and come up with equally creative solutions to help them raise funds: Through content creation and web monetization.

Now that we are on board a vehicle that empowers us to make huge positive impact, I promise to do my best to create content that is insightful and entertaining for you, by doing fun interviews with fellow community members and highlighting the cool XRPL projects and all the hard work behind, hoping that we can continue to team up and inspire other content creators to support the causes they care about while helping the Coil family grow.

I want to give a special thank you to Coil, for valuing the hard work and long hours that go into content creation. Coil's generous recognition of this through their boost program has unleashed creativity and ideas that otherwise wouldn't have come to fruition, and it is my wish that many more can join us in this journey.

Sincerely,

Moncho
