Mid-afternoon Friday I'm happy to note the day has already been acceptably productive. I've built two text template files that will make my early morning and late night computer work easier, faster, and more efficient. Sylvia surprised me by coming home early (a nice surprise, that) and I took her out to lunch. And earlier this afternoon I spoke with a rep from my cellphone provider and downgraded my plan to one that will save me ~ $35.00 per month.
This evening's entertainment will be listening to either post-season MLB or College Football games.

What an odd day this Thursday's been. I've felt “out of phase” with the real world most of the day. Not sick, not physically ill, not depressed nor particularly stressed, just ... out of phase.

Now creating a Standard Notes note from my Chromebook, which the app recognizes as a mobile device, like a phone or tablet. I notice the time being logged on this device is 3 hrs. ahead of the actual time here, ahead of what the Chromebook has as the actual time. And as the note is syncing on my phone, it's showing the real time plus 3 hours, too. Interesting. And I don't see any way to adjust it. Hmm... Travel along the learning curve continues.

First note from Standard Notes desktop app on my Linux machine. Setup was smooth and easy. Next we'll see how the Android app works on my phone, how the web app works from my Chromebook, and how it all synchs together. Using the free version and everything looks good so far.

After a productive morning and relaxing early afternoon, I'm listening to this afternoon's Phillies vs Padres game, scoreless as the 1st inning has just ended. I may experiment with the Standard Notes this afternoon to see if I can use it to replace Google Keep as my daily note-taking app.

Relaxing to this afternoon's Yankees game. About an hour and a half from now I'll start getting ready for this evening's Knights of Columbus Honor Guard work at St. Luke's. Frank will be giving me a ride and he said to be ready by 5:30.

So. Calmly and steadily I've moved through this Monday's three main chores. Got my weeek's laundry all done, printed out a map and directions to the Church where I'll be doing Honor Guard work tomorrow, and printed out 30 copies of my Assembly's October newsletter for our meeting next week.
Took two short cat naps this afternoon, surely that helped.
Tonight I may follow the NFL's Monday Night Football game on my new NFL+ app. If I can make it trough the first half before getting ready for bed, that'll be as far as I usually make it.

When I was up, sort of, during an insomnia break in the very early hours of this morning, I set three chores for myself to accomplish during this day. I think I've taken care of two of them. But for the life of me I can't remember what that third chore was. /sigh.

Two of the day's three big chores went well. And I'm confident the third will go well, too.
Cut my hair early this morning, really needed it. Attended the public Rosary at the Grotto in front of the Rectory. Dave had me lead the prayers of the Third Mystery. In about an hour or so I'll head over to the Church where I'll be Lector for the Evening Mass.

A busy, productive day, spent entirely at home.
Showed Sylvia how to work the new TV game console, but she was really tired and I don't think she paid much attention.
Built and posted an October Newsletter for my KofC Assembly. Talked with another KofC officer who had trouble posting pictures to the GG, explained his mistake to him, and posted the photos for him.
After listening to a post-season MLB game, I'm now listening to College Football. Had to reactivate my TuneIn Premium membership to get it. That'll be a $10.00 / mo. PayPal charge. Oh well,...
