Waiting now for a return phone call from a brother Knight who I offered to give a ride to tonight's meeting. I sent him an email late morning, and got no reply to that. Then I called him on the phone an hour ago. He said he was busy and away from home, but he'd call me when he got back home. Hope he calls within the hour because I'll need to leave myself for the meeting.

So Monday saw me wrapping up necessary household chores, and this Tuesday found me making good progress re: preparing for tomorrow night's Assembly meeting. Had good text comms with 4 different KofC officers during this afternoon. Sylvia's new compression leggings seem to help with her leg and lower abdomen pain so I've ordered her two more pair.
Remaining prep work for tomorrow night's meeting should be easily handled during the day. Hoping now for a good night's sleep. Tomorrow will be a long, busy day. I hope to make it a good one.

The week ahead will be very busy, and keeping a good attitude will be key to making it through in good form. A Wednesday meeting, a Thursday District Fallout, and next Sunday's District Fallout will be the public activities. Today and Tuesday will be spent organizing and preparing for Wednesday's meeting, while Friday and Saturday will be important rest days, recovering from Wednesday and Thursday in preparation for next Sunday's Fallout.
Productive preparation today and tomorrow can best happen if I remain calm and focused, not allowing myself to become distracted by needless worry.

Midday Sunday and I'm happy with how my day's gone so far. Walked over to 10:00 Mass, and had pleasant though short chats with brother Knights when I picked up Sylvia's menudo at the KofC breakfast after Mass.
Rejoined Gab Social today and went Gab Pro. I'll ease my way into activity there and we'll see how that goes.
Watching the Cowboys vs. Lions game this early afternoon has been fun. Happy to see the Cowboys winning under Dak Prescott.

This Saturday's off to a pretty good start. Sylvia cooked me a BIG breafast, more than I could possibly eat. And I've got the radio call of today's IU Hoosiers vs Rutgers College Football playing through the TuneIn Radio Channel on my Roku TV now, and more good College Football ahead of me until tonight's Svengoolie.

Mid-afternoon Friday I'm happy to note the day has already been acceptably productive. I've built two text template files that will make my early morning and late night computer work easier, faster, and more efficient. Sylvia surprised me by coming home early (a nice surprise, that) and I took her out to lunch. And earlier this afternoon I spoke with a rep from my cellphone provider and downgraded my plan to one that will save me ~ $35.00 per month.
This evening's entertainment will be listening to either post-season MLB or College Football games.

What an odd day this Thursday's been. I've felt “out of phase” with the real world most of the day. Not sick, not physically ill, not depressed nor particularly stressed, just ... out of phase.

Now creating a Standard Notes note from my Chromebook, which the app recognizes as a mobile device, like a phone or tablet. I notice the time being logged on this device is 3 hrs. ahead of the actual time here, ahead of what the Chromebook has as the actual time. And as the note is syncing on my phone, it's showing the real time plus 3 hours, too. Interesting. And I don't see any way to adjust it. Hmm... Travel along the learning curve continues.

First note from Standard Notes desktop app on my Linux machine. Setup was smooth and easy. Next we'll see how the Android app works on my phone, how the web app works from my Chromebook, and how it all synchs together. Using the free version and everything looks good so far.

After a productive morning and relaxing early afternoon, I'm listening to this afternoon's Phillies vs Padres game, scoreless as the 1st inning has just ended. I may experiment with the Standard Notes this afternoon to see if I can use it to replace Google Keep as my daily note-taking app.
