Having a lazy Sunday. Napped a bit while listening to the radio call of this afternoon's Rangers game, hurried through the day's CC games making some seriously bone-headed moves along the way, and find myself now listening to the radio call of a 500-lap NASCAR Cup Series Race.
Most active parts of this weekend so far in the Roscoe-verse were: yesterday's 5:00 PM Mass where I lectored, served as an usher, and served as one of the guys who brought the gifts forward. (If you're Catholic you know what that all means); and this morning's 10:00 AM Mass where I prayed a public Rosary, walked in procession with my KofC Council, and was one of the guys who brought the gifts forward.

Saturday starts quietly and well. Continued tweaking of the new computer is still underway, and probably always will be, that's just how it works. Expecting several deliveries from Amazon today. College football will be playing in the background as I move through the day's chores. I'm scheduled to lector at 5:00 Mass this evening. And, since it's Saturday, there will be Svengoolie tonight.

So I'm ditching the Telegram channel to which I've been sort of micro-blogging for, heck, a long time. And I'm firing this critter up again. It feels like a better, more honest fit.

This afternoon will be for yard work. Weather permitting, of course.

A perfect ending to a busy day: listening to Eric Nadel calling a Texas Rangers game, and the Rangers winning said game.

Well. Either the touch screen on my smartphone has developed a psychotic mind of its own, or my fingers have achieved new levels of clumsiness.

Big change! The dynamic of my days over the next 3 months (and maybe for much longer than that) will change considerably from what it's been for the past year. Responsibilities with my KofC Council have really picked up. Time management will be key as I try to balance the hours most effectively.

The bad... Oak pollen levels here in San Antonio are obscenely high today. My sinuses knew that before the guy on my morning radio told me. Yes, this will be another day to megadose on the allergy meds. Already doing that.
The good. Even this early in the day my central a/c is pouring cool, cool air throughout the house. Good thing, too: outside temperatures may top 90 degrees. Here in Roscoe's micro-verse we'll keep it a comfortable 72.

Much easier. Installed and worked with the Audacity software program on Linux this afternoon. Found it so much easier to use than when I first tried to work with it 10 years ago.
