A decision has been made. All day I've been trying to decide what my night's TV viewing will be: shall I watch the Pacers / Knicks NBA Game, or shall I watch tonight's Svengoolie?
I do consider myself a Pacers fan, and I do hope they win tonight, but I also want to enjoy a good night's sleep. NBA basketball is really exciting to watch, too exciting for me to watch so close to my bedtime. So with the hope going to bed with a relaxed, calm state of mind, I'll be closing out my Saturday night's TV watching with Svengoolie.

Tonight's WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and the Connecticut Sun is almost ready to start. It will be interesting to see how the Fever is adjusting to the absence of Caitlin Clark, who is sidelined with a leg injury.

20 minutes away from NBA Basketball, Pacers vs Knicks. I plan to watch at least the 1st half of the game, and I hope to be able to watch the whole thing before getting too tired and crashing.

Today was a catch-up day. I was able to catch up on chores from yesterday that didn't get done on Monday as they usually do.
Watching the Pacers / Knicks game now, hoping it won't have me too excited to fall asleep at bedtime.

What a strange day this has been! Huge blocks of time filled with activities not usually taking place on Monday.. Took the wife out for lunch at a favorite restaurant, which was nice, but took nearly two hours in the middle of the day when I'd ordinarily be handling common chores.
Expecting serious weather tonight, I took a portable power bank out of storage, set it up, and tested it. It was necessary to crawl under furniture, unplug appliances, move furniture around, etc. in order to set everything up. And that took a few hours when I'd ordinarily be doing other things.
Here we are now at nearly bedtime. Whew! Think I'll take some time to relax before putting my head to pillow.

It's almost time for tonight's Pacers / Knicks game. Hope I can stay awake to watch the whole thing, but my day started really early, so... And that bed against wall is looking so inviting. We'll see.

My sports-day starts early this Thursday with the Rangers playing the Yankees, weather permitting. First pitch is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., and the Rangers Gameday Show has just started. I'm tuned into that now. And I do have an Indiana Fever Game to follow later. Opening tip for the basketball game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., so I'll tune into the radio coverage for that at ~6:00.
Most of my morning has been spent paying bills, or shuffling funds into different accounts to cover expected withdrawals. That being done, I hope to spend the rest of this day with more pleasant pursuits.
Late afternoon Tuesday and I should be satisfied with the day's accomplishments. Next week I'm to lead a Rosary service at a Funeral Home at the request of the family of the deceased. This morning I assembled the material I'll use.
Tonight's entertainment will either be following the radio broadcast of an Indiana Fever Game or a Texas Rangers Game. Both will be satisfying. Both are playing at the same time. I'll try the Fever game first, but there's any trouble bringing it in, I'll gladly switch over the the Rangers / Yankees Game.

I won this CC (Correspondence Chess) game a few minutes ago playing Black. On the 40th move of this game, which began with our first full move on Feb. 24, my e1 Rook delivered the mating move. The White King's only two flight squares were covered by my b8 Bishop and my d1 Knight. The position of pieces at game's end and our full move record are shown below:
