In the middle of a week with 100+ degree temperatures every day, I took time this afternoon to haul the big box full of summer clothes out of my closet, and reload that box with sweaters, long sleeved flannel shirts, and other heavy clothes I won't be wearing for several months. Running those summer clothes through the washer and dryer now so I can start wearing them right away.

Could it possibly get any worse? I'm talking about FaceBook, the social media platform. So much of what I see posted there is old, outdated, and often blatantly false reports pretending to be “news.” The only reason I check FB any more is is to find pictures or news of my family and friends in real life. And there is less of that all the time.

Closing out this Saturday with a Svengoolie horror movie. He's showing a creepy one tonight that features a plague of spiders, and some really poor acting. I may or may not see it through to the end.

Another slow-moving day winds down. I did get a bit of yard work done, trimmed down 2 big weed bushes in the front yard flower beds. And I placed an online grocery order to be delivered early tomorrow morning.

This has been an okay Thursday. Nothing remarkable in the Roscoe-verse to report, but no major problems or worries either. Was able to spend 2 ½ hours working on those fallen branches in the front yard midday, and that's a good thing.
