People should be really careful not to encourage some people to even further the dysfunction by saying things like “turns out what conspiracy theorists said was true”. Just like how most lies contain some elements of the truth, most delusions also contain some elements of reality.

For example: Me: using a knife, trying to cut a melon in half clumsily with my disability and all. Paranoid: She is cutting a melon in a very forceful and violent way. What is she trying to do? Is she trying to send me a message? Does she want to harm me?

I know it sounds like a joke but it's actually what some of them think, especially when they are in great pressure. Maybe not even something to do with you, like under their own financial stress due to their own irresponsibility.

So the premise is that paranoid people are good at picking up evidence due to hypervigilance, which could be used in a career of investigative journalism. The problem is they also have very distorted perception of themselves and others due to splitting. So it doesn't matter how good the evidence is, they will always draw wrong conclusions.

The most borderline thinking of today is that the orange man psychologically and magically made totally innocent, kind-hearted people looting so that he can impose dictatorship.

Well, outside of romantic contexts, I don't see why I would do it for free.

Talking about respecting my body, the worst thing in Europe was that people liked hugging each other. And I refused to be a part of that activity.

Boys often make fun of girls for what they call “suicidal empathy”, where girls display an exaggerated amount of love and compassion toward strangers without any regard to reality. And because boys themselves don't often display that kind of behavior, they boil it down to a gender thing.

But actually boys have their own version of reaction formation. It's just that “nurturing” was never the selling point of a “real man”. It's being rational, having integrity, not holding grudges or being petty.

Of course, they only learn the LOOK of it. Because those traits don't make sense without the context of reality either. And it is just as ridiculous for the casual observers as the girls with suicidal empathy.
