Doris Lessing's Homage for Isaak Babel: A Review
The very first time I heard Doris Lessing's name was in 2007, the same year she won the Nobel Prize in Literature.
A Place for My Ideas
The very first time I heard Doris Lessing's name was in 2007, the same year she won the Nobel Prize in Literature.
I’d like to stroll around and listen to my favourite music and hopefully to another chapter of God Delusion audiobook by Richard Dawkins; towards Kypegården Lake, Borås.
Paradoxically; as an atheist, I have many good memories from Gustav Adolf Church in Borås…
Stranger than Fiction (2006) is one of the most intelligent films, I’ve ever seen. Moreover, I consider it as a remarkable and outstanding humanist film.
I really love the ZA/UM's game: Disco Elysium. As many critics, and players have already pointed out, it is one of the best role-playing-game ever made. A true gem that you had to wait since 1999 after playing the Planescape: Torment.
I watched the “Your Name (2016)” in the cinema. I know Makoto Shinkai’s works, and I always put “5 cm per second” as one of my favourite animated films. And I certainly enjoyed “Your Name” on the big screen! And with all the awful animation films and another car sequel to look forward; I shouldn't say anything bad about “Your Name”. But the primary four reasons caused me to write this review:
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition has a coherent and well-thought atmosphere throughout the game which is cohesive and compelling. The factor that mostly dragged me to The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is its hidden depth and beautiful soundtracks, which I liked in Morrowind too.
I adore the Trois Couleurs (Trilogie) films by Krzysztof Kieślowski. The Three Colours Trilogy: Blue, White and Red, represent the French Revolution ideals and slogans: “Liberty”, “Equality” and “Fraternity” respectfully in our modern time.
Many insightful reviews of this Hayo Miyazaki’s wonderful film already exist, e.g. Amy Harlib’s distinguished article, which I enjoyed, or Peter Bradshaw's article for The Guardian.
When I was a teenager, I used to like a TV series: Robotech – First Generation.
