Thanks to Dino and his post here I now know how to use markdown to display an image in a blog post, and allow the reader to click that image to view the image in a tab.
I tried it and it works. 👇

Lagade snabb middag och läste ett reportage om tv-serien Upp till kamp i Filter. Satt kvar vid köksbordet efter att tonårssonen hade gått och fann att jag faktiskt öppnat pappersmagasinet som kommit med posten och därefter läst en lång text från början till slut. Jag gillade ingressen särskilt.
Och starten på brödtexten är genialisk i sin enkelhet. Ingen upprepning här inte, bara pang på.

Bought a litre if the new Alpro Rye drink yesterday. The taste is good but I find it curios that’s it’s branded as totally Nordic. The rye is from Finland but it contains both gellan gum and acacia gum. I doubt those products are made in one of the Nordic countries. But I can be wrong. I emailed the producer to find out. I’ll let you know when I get the answer.

It’s coming to an end this great TV show. I really like Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman. What an actor. And Rhea Seehorn as a Kim Wexler.

Jag äter enkelt till lunch. Lättlagat, på gränsen till deppigt. Ibland är det deppigt förresten. Men det mesta går att rädda med en liten bit färg. Något grönt i ett hav av beige.

Det är måndag morgon i slutet av juli och jag promenerar längs vattnet till jobbet. Det är inte många ute. Det var ovanligt få på gymmet också. Men en av varjedagkillarna var där. Vi noterade varandra.
Försöker komma i nyhetsläge genom att lyssna på P4 Stockholm men nej, jag tycker inte att det är bra. Efter en låt jag kunde varit utan kom ett inslag med intervjuer med folk ute stan som fick prata om hur det var att se Duplantis ta världsrekord.

I saw Paddy Pimblett win again tonight in the octagon. The Brit is fun to watch. A good fighter with a lot of charisma. Afterwards he asked if he could say a few words to the crowd. He took the mic and told about Friday night when he got a message a friend back home had killed himself. Paddy’s message to the crowd was that all men have to start talking to someone when they “carry some weight on their shoulders”.
“I know I'd rather they cry on my shoulder than go to his funeral next week. ... Let's get rid of this stigma and men start talking.”
I think it’s great that a person like Paddy is doing this, in front of a crowd mostly consisting of men.

Hann inte ens komma fram till torpet förrän något skit gått sönder. Stolpen som håller upp solseglen på framsidan hade gått av under regnovädret. Min fru skickade en mycket tydlig bild som nådde mig på tåget. Jag hade tänkt att låta saken bero, säsongen går ju ändå mot sitt slut, men efter maten kunde jag inte låta bli. Nu är den lagad. Och jag är trött. Kanske blir det lite bärplockning imorgon.

My wife and kids are on vacation. I’m alone in Stockholm working. It’s unusual. Back in the days, as a young student, I spent a lot of time by myself, but nowadays… no. I try to enjoy it as much as I can. I’d rather be together with my family but when this is how it is, why not trying to make it something enjoyable? One thing I really enjoy is that I don’t have to hurry home from work to make dinner, or eat dinner. I eat when I feel hungry. And the food I make, well it’s nothing my wife or kids would like. Very easy cooking. Healthy yes. Tasty? Nah, not always.
Right now I’m enjoying a beer on my own. I have been swimming for almost an hour and when I’m done with this little blog post I’ll go home and have something to eat. I might watch episode four of Resident Evil on Netflix while eating!
It’s interesting to go to a place alone. You can listen to a lot of conversations you’re not supposed to hear. It’s a good way of finding ideas for news stories actually. Or just new ideas.

Inspired by Maique’s blog stickerspotter I started one myself. But I’m mostly hunting for stickers in the streets of Stockholm instead of Lisbon. I call it Stickers I see and is based over at Tumblr. I wanted to try that platform again and it’s very handy when it comes to fast sharing of photos taken with a mobile phone. Please check it out.
