Minneapolis, MN – On July 29, over 150 protesters gathered outside U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar's new office in downtown Minneapolis. The event was called by Minnesota Peace Action Coalition, in response to Israel’s manufactured famine imposed on Gaza, and to call out Klobuchar's complicity in this starvation campaign.

Milwaukee, WI – On Tuesday, July 29, the Milwaukee Anti-war Committee held an Emergency Hands Off the West Bank protest condemning the Israeli parliament for its symbolic vote to illegally annex the West Bank. This vote was indicative of the escalation of Israeli aggression and expansion, and another step on their nearly century-long genocidal mission of theft of Palestinian land.

La Grange, IL- 50 activists disrupted Congressman Sean Casten’s town hall on Wednesday night, July 30. They raised their voices to demand that Casten sign the Block the Bombs act. Some of the same organizers had disrupted Congressman Bill Foster’s town hall on Tuesday night to make the same demand.

Denver, CO – On July 26, Coloradans gathered outside Denver’s Union Station in a rally against software development company Palantir, which is complicit with apartheid Israel.

Palantir develops artificial intelligence used both by ICE to facilitate mass arrests and deportations and by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), with programs like “Lavender” and “Where’s Daddy” used to target and slaughter innocent Palestinian civilians and families by identifying targets, tracking them back to their homes, and deploying bombs.

New York, NY – On the weekend of July 25-27, the Anti-War Action Network sent members from the Minnesota Anti-War Committee, Women Against Military Madness, Detroit Anti-War Committee, Tucson Anti-War, and Seattle Against War to the first ever People’s Summit for Korea in New York City.

Chicago, IL – Hundreds of people rallied outside McNally Capital headquarters on Tuesday evening, July 22, and chanted “Stop starving Gaza now!” Some banged pots and pans to make noise in a way symbolic of Palestinians waiting for food aid in Gaza.

The emergency rally was hosted by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM).

Seattle, WA – On July 26, a crowd of over 100 gathered at Seattle Central College for a rally and community action fair organized by the south Seattle-based grassroots organization Seattle Against War (SAW).

They were united by the need to stand up against the attacks on the working class and oppressed peoples embodied in Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” – from stripping necessary social services to an unprecedented $170 billion budget increase to ICE and border patrol.

Chicago, IL- On Thursday afternoon, July 24, 300 Chicagoans gathered for an emergency noise demonstration outside the Zionist entity’s consulate in Chicago in response to the intentional mass starvation in Gaza. The protesters demanded the immediate and unconditional lifting of the siege on Gaza and an end to all U.S. aid to Israel.

Jacksonville, FL – On July 24, the Jacksonville Palestine Solidarity Network and over 30 community members mobilized to City Hall at noon, demanding an end to the siege on Gaza. The call to action, made by Palestinian journalist Bisan Owda, was to disrupt business as usual in front of embassies, government buildings and companies perpetuating the starvation of Gaza.

Dallas, TX – Over 100 Dallas residents joined a protest against Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on Friday, July 25 to call attention to the firm’s backing of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which has killed over a thousand Palestinians seeking aid.

Milwaukee, WI – On July 19, more than 40 people rallied alongside the Milwaukee Anti-war Committee (MAC) for their third annual protest of the Milwaukee Air & Water Show.

Charleston, SC – On July 22, members of the Elbit Out of South Carolina Coalition (EOSC) spoke out at a Charleston County council meeting against Elbit Systems America, a subsidiary of Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems.

San Jose, CA – On Saturday, July 12, 50 people gathered to hear Nora Barrows-Friedman speak at an event hosted by San Jose Against War. Barrows-Friedman is an associate editor for Electronic Intifada and co-host for the live show with the same name. She has been a reporter and broadcaster focusing on Palestine for more than 20 years and is the author of In Our Power: US Students Organize for Justice in Palestine.

Chicago, IL – 100 Chicagoans came out in the rain on Saturday, July 19, to protest the continued genocide in Gaza and stand with the people of Syria and Palestine. The Chicago Coalition for Justice in Palestine (CJP) called this protest in response to escalations of Zionist attacks on Syria. Protesters demanded “Not a penny not a dollar” for the Zionist entity’s crimes and chanted “Gaza needs food and water! Israel, stop the slaughter!”



Tampa, FL — On July 14, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) held a press conference in their Tampa office for Sayfollah “Saif” Musallet, a Florida-born Palestinian man that was killed by Israeli settlers on July 11 while on a trip to visit family in the West Bank.

Musallet was only 20 years old when he was beaten by settlers looking to steal his family’s land in the town of Sinjil, while the Israeli occupation forces stopped ambulances and help from coming through.

Tampa, Fl – Around 100 people gathered at the Islamic Community of Tampa on Saturday, July 19, to have a vigil for Palestinian martyr Sayfollah Musallet.

Musallet was a 20-year-old Tampa resident and U.S. citizen. He was a well-known community member and owned a local ice cream shop named Ice Sssscreamin. He was visiting family in the occupied West Bank when he was beaten to death by Israeli settlers on his family’s land on July 11.

On July 10, Students for Justice in Palestine and their allies came out in force at the Chicago office of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) showing once again that the movement for a free Palestine is as strong as ever.

St. Paul, MN – Local residents including members of Women Against Military Madness (WAMM), Veterans for Peace and the MN Anti-War Committee (AWC) protested at the Saint Paul Board of Water Commissioners meeting on July 15 with signs reading, “Saint Paul cut the contract, free Palestine!” to pressure the board to not renew Waterfall Security Solutions contract this fall.

New Orleans, LA – On July 11, at approximately 11:50 a.m., two FBI agents knocked on the door of local pro-Palestine activist Heather Awyan at her residence.

After identifying themselves, the FBI agents immediately began asking Awyan about “reports of antisemitic activity or internet postings.” The agents did not even ask Awyan to identify herself but wanted to know her “take” on those “reports.”

In response, Awyan stated, “I have no take because I don’t have a lawyer” and ended the interaction. Before leaving the front stoop, one agent pressed Awyan further by asking her if anyone had been harassing her. Awyan replied, “I have nothing to say to you. I don’t have any comment.” The two FBI agents walked away.

Champaign, IL – At Champaign County’s annual Independence Day parade, Queers for Palestine took home the top prize with a float titled “Queers Against Genocide.”

The float was unapologetically bold – draped in rainbow colors and Palestinian flags, without a single American flag in sight. The float was a favorite among spectators, many who joined in with chants for “Free Palestine.”
