Chicago, IL – 350 people gathered across the street from the Zionist “Chicago Stands with Israel’ rally, July 28, to stand in solidarity with Gaza. One of the more popular chants at the counter-protest was “Gaza, Gaza, don't you cry; we stand with you in the Chi!” Despite the police's efforts to physically divide the counter-protest, the Palestinians and their supporters stayed until the Zionists left. Afterwards, they marched through Daley plaza and reaffirmed their commitment to organize and protest until Palestine is free.
