New York, NY – Around 50 people gathered in Union Square April 13 to stand in solidarity with the third week of Palestinians protesting on the border of Gaza.
Minneapolis, MN – Protesters stood outside the offices of Senator Amy Klobuchar, April 10, to call attention to the Palestinians being killed by the Israeli military. This emergency bannering comes as Palestinians are being killed during the Great March of Return, which began on Land Day, March 30, and will continue for six weeks until Al Nakba on May 15.
Jacksonville, FL – Over two dozen students and community activists gathered on April 9 to begin holding events for Israeli Apartheid Week at the University of North Florida (UNF). Students for Justice in Palestine at UNF led a vigil to honor Palestinian martyrs killed by Israel with help from the Jacksonville Palestine Solidarity Network.
New York, NY – On April 6, around 200 people gathered in Union Square to in solidarity with Palestinians as they protest on the Gaza border for their right to return. The protest was called by the organization Within Our Lifetime.
Gaza officials report that on April 4, an Israeli drone strike killed a Palestinian youth in the border area.

The massacre took place during the Great March of Return in Gaza – a protest that is projected to last 45 days, leading up to Nakba Day, May 15.
St. Paul, MN – A crowd of 75 people protested at the busy intersection of Summit and Snelling Avenues in Saint Paul on Palestinian Land Day, March 30. The protest was called by the Minnesota Anti-War Committee and Women Against Military Madness to highlight the imprisonment of Ahed Tamimi, among other child prisoners, but news of events in Palestine on the day was on the forefront of everyone’s minds.

Early reports indicate that at least seven Palestinians have been killed and hundreds injured.
St. Paul, MN — The Minnesota Anti-War Committee and Women Against Military Madness will hold a protest on March 30, 5 p.m., at the Summit and Snelling Avenues, in Saint Paul to mark Palestinian Land Day. Palestinians around the world will commemorate Land Day, a day in 1976 when Israeli military forces shot and killed six young Palestinians who were among thousands protesting the Israeli government’s expropriation of Palestinian land.
Detroit, MI -The Palestinian Community Network-Detroit (USPCN-Detroit) partnered with Black4Palestine and Jewish Voice Peace, Feb. 18, to support Palestinian teenager Ahed Tamimi and her family on the Global Day of Action to Free the Tamimis. Standing at the intersection of the William Dickerson Detention Facility and Oakland International Academy (a school) the Hamtramck gathering symbolized the inseparability of incarceration and militarization with childhood in Occupied Palestine and across poor oppressed nationality communities in the U.S.
New York, NY – About 40 activists gathered outside the Israeli Consulate on the afternoon of Feb. 18, as a part of the national day of action in solidarity with the Palestinian girl, Ahed Tamimi.
Fort Lauderdale, FL- On Feb. 3, 30 members of the South Florida community gathered outside of the Federal Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale to protest the illegal and unjust imprisonment of 16-year-old Palestinian Ahed Tamimi. The protest, which was called, “Free Ahed and ALL Child Prisoners,” focused not only on young Ms. Tamimi but also the 300-plus other child prisoners being held in Israeli occupation jails.
New York, NY — Approximately 100 people gathered in Penn Station during rush hour, Jan. 30, to demand justice for Ahed Tamimi. The action was called by the NY4Palestine coalition.
