Los Angeles, CA – 20,000 strong, the Palestinian community and supporters throughout Southern California descended upon the West Los Angeles Wilshire Federal Building and marched to the Israeli Consulate. Protesters demanded an end to the occupation of all historical Palestine and the dismantling of apartheid by the Israeli colonial entity responsible for the terror and mass displacement of Palestinians since 1948, and for and end the violence endured by neighboring Arab countries.
Jacksonville, FL – On May 15, over 200 Palestinians and their supporters rallied in downtown Jacksonville to demand an end to the attacks on Gaza. The year date marked the 73rd anniversary of the Nakba. Al Nakba is the day in 1948 in which at least 750,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes by Zionist terror groups and settlers.
Milwaukee, WI – On May 18, nearly 200 people gathered outside of Bradford Beach, below the North Point Water Tower, to rally and march in solidarity with the general strike in Palestine. The crowd was made up of many students and Palestinian families, as well as members from the Milwaukee Alliance Against Racial and Political Repression, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, the Milwaukee Area Labor Council and other groups.

Tampa, FL – In response to the ongoing Israeli assault on Palestine, a 500-person demonstration mobilized at Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa on May 16. The protest was composed overwhelmingly of Palestinian community members young and old, with a contingent of supporters from the area. Protesters took to the streets marching throughout the downtown area and over a bridge leading to other areas of town chanting “Free, free Palestine!” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”
Dallas, Texas – On May 15, around 3000 people gathered at the Grassy Knoll in downtown Dallas to protest Israel's ethnic cleansing of Sheikh Jarrah, the violent attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the airstrikes on Gaza by Israeli apartheid forces.

Miami, FL – Thousands of people from across South Florida took to the streets of Miami two nights in a row this past weekend in solidarity with Palestinians who continue to resist Israeli violence and the ongoing occupation of Palestine. The calls to action were put out by South Florida Jewish Voices for Peace and Al Awda: The Palestinian Right to Return Coalition and were supported by most progressive community organizations throughout the area.
Chicago, IL – The Coalition for Justice in Palestine (CJP) led 25,000 marchers into the streets of Chicago’s central business area, the Loop, May 16, to demand a halt to Israeli violence and an end to the displacement of Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah. The death toll from the Zionist air strikes, artillery and rubber-coated steel bullets nears 200.
