We're a tiny, bootstrapped company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, but working from all over the world.
We're building a suite of simple products that each focus intensely on solving a unique problem, but also work well with the other products we build and the web in general.
This all starts with Write.as, our text-publishing platform, and feeds into Read Write.as, our showcase for writers. These platforms are complemented by Snap.as, where writers can host their photos, and a future site that will showcase photographers' work, too. Next, writers will be able to collaborate with Draft.as, and keep their drafts and notes completely private (even from us) with Jot.as.
We make sure our vision and ethos are clear, then give everyone around us the power to build products in line with that vision freely. We trust our employees to understand all parts of our business as if they were all co-founders, and to work as artists do — drawing on every bit of their experience and imagination to create simple, beautiful, user-respecting products.
We have no set hours that you're required to be sitting in a chair or staring at a screen. We want you to build work around your life and interests and hobbies — not the other way around. We treat you like an adult, as an expert in your craft, and a free human being.
We are not currently hiring for any full-time positions.
