Maybe not every Crypto Lover, but all XRP investors are definitely following all the moves made by all the lawyers that are working at the moment to get Ripple / XRP / Crypto in the clear.

As you know, I have been in this space since 2017, allegations, had been made before, other coin maxis always eyed the “alleged” security and finally, in December 2020 it was the Securities and Exchange Commission that filed a complaint …. warned by Brad Garlinghouse himself:

As of December 2020, it has been a wild ride for Ripple and the XRP Investor / Holder. Suddenly everybody was a lawyer, everybody knew what was happening and NOT happening, interesting to see ! ! !

New people showed up and one of them is Jeremy Hogan. I was not aware of him and many people did not know him, but I can say I have seen all of his videos that he published regarding the SEC vs. Ripple …….. and so have a lot of people; his videos are viewed a lot. He gets a lot of support on Twitter and I believe he should ! ! !

Legal things are NOT easy but can be made easier ….. Jeremy Hogan ! ! !

His name popped up more than once, so I want to know more, others want to know more, ....., I ....., I ....., I ..... , I

Can you tell me about yourself, who is Jeremy Hogan ? ? ?

Jeremy Hogan:

I was born in Ohio but grew up on the island of Guam with some time in Hawaii, Japan, and California before settling in Florida. I opened my own law practice in 2006 with my wife and we have two beautiful girls so nowadays I am mostly “Dad.”

Your history with Crypto Currency and XRP specifically, did this digital asset became more attractive to you when the SEC showed its face?

Jeremy Hogan:

I got into the crypto world only about 2 years ago and my interest was in smart contracts and how they could be used in the insurance world.

I knew what XRP was but didn’t really look into it until after the lawsuit was filed.

After researching its uses and seeing how the price had been destroyed by the lawsuit, I thought that XRP was a “no-brainer” purchase and that was primarily due to the lawsuit.

Social Media has served you well. YouTube – Legal Briefs – shows over 60.000 Subscribers, almost every video viewed over 100K, coming from a much lower level of engagement. Twitter over 25.000 Followers. Where do you think this public interest is coming from?

After the lawsuit I felt there was a lot of confusion and fear in the XRPCommunity. After my first video on the Ripple lawsuit, I quickly realised the XRP community was starved for information presented in a clear and easily digestible way.

The SEC going after Ripple, Brad and Chris?

I think including Brad and Chris in the lawsuit was a mistake. The lawsuits against the individuals are much more difficult and screams “overreach” on its part. I think those lawsuits are dismissed or not successful at some point.

Ripple's SEC answer?

I think Ripple HAD to answer the lawsuit in order to move it forward quicker. Ripple can’t let this lawsuit linger and that forced their hand, which is never a good position to be in when it comes to litigation. I don’t think it was necessarily a mistake, but it’s NOT a good position to be in.

Ripple's question to dismiss the case?

I think only Brad and Chris moved to dismiss the case and that was absolutely the right move. I think the cases SHOULD be dismissed.

The SEC asking to dismiss the Ripple dismissal?

I think the SEC wants to stop Ripple from obtaining certain documents and communications so it had to ask that one of Ripple’s affirmative defenses be removed from the case. I think the SEC made some concessions in the motion that could hurt them later so yes, I think the SEC made some mistakes in that filing.

XRPTwin:

At this moment there are between 1.000 / 100.000 lawyers judging the SEC / Ripple case from the sideline (the XRPCommunity); does this help or damage the case looking at Ripple's (XRP) point of view?

Jeremy Hogan:

I don’t think the SEC attorneys or Ripple lawyers give too much heed to what the sideline lawyers are talking about – although we maybe like to think they do. The sideline attorneys don’t know ALL that is going on. Half of what I do is guesswork! So, I don’t think it matters too much what we say or think to be honest.

XRPTwin:

A question that is playing with everybody's mind, how long is this case going to be dragged, how long is this going to last?

Yes, the XRP community and crypto investors are very impatient! This case is moving very very quickly by lawsuit standards. I had a recent case take 3 years to get to trial. The main and important parts of this case should be resolved by this late fall/early winter. IF there are appeals, that would add an extra year or so to get an appellate decision.

XRPTwin:

Is this case all about Ripple / XRP clearance, or should the whole market look at this case as it will also determine their future?

Jeremy Hogan:

This case is about much more than Ripple. If the SEC is successful, the case precedent would leave almost every coin out there vulnerable to being essentially destroyed/delisted/damaged at the whim of the SEC. I think you would see an exodus of the industry to safer shores (like maybe Netherlands?!)

Fair Notice and Due Process?

The 5th Amendment holds a dear place in my heart and that’s where Fair Notice/Due Process stems from. You SHOULD not be subject to civil or criminal prosecution by the government unless it is CLEAR that what you are doing is violating the law. To me, that is a fundamental constitutional right and THAT is at play here.

The SEC has to convince the Court that Ripple made essentially one long sale/offering of XRP and focus the Court down on early sales. The SEC has to simplify that whole case and get the Court to believe that most people were looking primarily to Ripple to increase the value of XRP.

Ripple has to make the case complicated, meaning Ripple has to make the Court understand that each sale was different and at the time of each sale the use cases had expanded and XRP had become more decentralised.

What did you think about the hearing with the Honourable Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn last week?

Jeremy Hogan:

I think the hearing went obviously very well for the individual defendants. And also for Ripple based on the judge’s comments that her understanding is that XRP is a currency and has utility. But that doesn’t necessarily mean “case over.” If this was a horse race, we are only in the first turn. A lot of bad things can still happen but it certainly made me feel better about how our horse is running!

I love interviews, I love Crypto ..... Well, that is a match made in heaven ! ! !

I have interviewed very nice names in the atmosphere, can definitely think of a couple names still to interview ! ! ! The next interview, will land tomorrow, is one I went for and happy it happened. It is wild, a little personal and one you want to read .... you will find out tomorrow.

Before Coil, I wrote on XRPCommunity.blog where I started to write, because of Hodor. Hodor, if you do not know him, is absolutely, by far, the best Crypto (XRPCommunity)/ Ripple (Coil) writer in this industry. He was also the driving force for me to continue to write and I was fortunate enough to publish a Blog with him.

Before people think I classify myself in the Hodor league .... Well, not even remotely close. He is a whole different writer, a whole different league, so not even worth mentioning. I was lucky to start writing when he was around and I was able to learn from him ! ! !

Well, that was not where I wanted to go, but that is okay.

So, emotions and investing. There are many stages. Where are we now, well, for many we have seen Euphoria, but IMO XRP is still a Thrill-seeker.

If you look Hardcore to Technical Analysis, Pips, Fibonacci, Support Lines, Trend Lines, Resistance, that, yes that should not be looked at through watery eyes, or a smile from ear to ear. That is what it is, drawing lines, looking at how it currently looks. if it stays below/ above a specific line .... to forecast the near/ far future.

I absolutely agree with looking at it that way, NO emotion.

BUT ! ! !

There is also a soft side to “investing”. I've learnt that during my university years, when I actually went shopping with the Economics Professor's Wife. This was for an American Marketing Association (AMA) meeting we had planned; not getting into the details ! ! !

We were walking the isles in the Grocery Store, got all the cheap cups, drinks, chips and other things and went to check-out. While we were standing there, the “not interested in Economics” wife looked around and said:

well, look at those filled carts, you should invest in Walmart, Sara Lee and Ahold .....

I was surprised by it and had to think about a lesson one of my High School teachers gave me years before:

“Women are Smart, Men need to learn **THAT** smartness by reading books”

In my example, men had to see all the Quarter Numbers, Sales, Projections and all that jazz. Women, use there common sense, see the baskets, buy alert ! ! !

I would like to share, although generalised by words like women / men, the latter paragraph is not intended to see all men the same and all women the same; there are women that study a lot, read a lot and learn a lot. There are also men that are amazing shoppers and value the things they are buying. If I hurt your feelings, I am sorry, not intended ! ! !

Getting back to emotions and Crypto Currency. For all the Hodlers, as long as it does NOT influence your buying, but more specifically your selling, let your emotions out; 99% of Crypto Twitter does it, so be part of it.

If you are fed up with XRP being suppressed, let it out, let the world know .... Would you like to tell the world what you think of NFT's, you have no clue, or you want to share your knowledge with the clueless, go for it.

There is just one rule:

Don't be mean to others, respect each other ! ! !

I have never been in an investment environment that has been so influenced / determined by emotions. Sharing amounts, sharing tokens/ crypto currencies/ digital assets that people are invested in; people dissing each other because they don't follow the right people, have the right “bag” ! ! ! Emotions every where; I read it with a grain of salt ..... a BIG grain of salt that is ! ! ! Your coin, my coin battles, they make no sense. Different projects serve different markets, have different utility.

This market is still very young, is still looking for winners and yes, many of the coins today are not making it.

Oh boy, March 20 will definitely be remembered as a day with another SEC disappointment .... the famous quote:

A question you should ask yourself ! ! !

I am talking about Digital Assets of course. I am talking about your back up plan; couple questions:

1. what are your logins / passwords
2. what coins do you have on exchange(s)
3. what coins do you have on ledgers
4. who has the details to your coins (exchange / wallets)

All these questions please take them serious and re-visit. This has been my plan:

I wrote everything down for 2 people un-mentioned here, but they know what to do ... I think. They know each other, but both have part of the answers. I re-visit this list from time to time as things change. I have sold things, so details are not correct anymore. I just to have assets on 1 exchange ...... well, nothing running on that exchange anymore. Different amounts, different wallets, apps that need to be downloaded, once again do NOT underestimate how important this is.

Actually, I need to revisit this as the list is not correct anymore. Assets and logins in this list are NOT together, so it is secure ... I think ! ! !

Besides the point of telling your loved ones how to get to the digital assets, maybe it is also good to know what you actually have. Go to the exchanges and look at the coins you may not check every day, every hour, every minute, eh ........... XRP ! ! ! Maybe you forgot about those small bags you have, maybe you forgot about those 1.000 coins you have there, Uphold, Binance, Bitrue, Coinbase all those exchanges, you know everything, what about all those DEX's,

I just hope everybody knows what they have, how coins can be transferred to next of kin, or somebody important. Plan, prepare and

From time to time, the DM's I receive are so bad. I do not understand why the have to be written that way and I hope it is a sign ! ! !

I remember that there have been times before that particular people feel the urge to shill me their coin with clear words. Shilling besides telling me, sharing me that XRP is a S**T coin. I do not think I shill XRP. Yes, I have XRP in my name, yes I like to write about it, quote people, share stories, news articles, but I don't tell you to buy it. That I see an opportunity, that I am positive does NOT mean you should agree.

I look at different coins and if you look at the total, I think I have had over 30 / 40 different coins. Am I proud of it, absolutely (NOT); you choose the answer to that question. I have had unfortunate coins, I had fortune coins/ rides; it has been a learning curve and I see that I own viewer and viewer now. Am I still looking around, absolutely and I would love to own more dollars/ euros to convert into other coins that I do not own.

The F word (not Ferdi) in combination with XRP is uncalled for and let's all be civil with each other. There are many great projects out there and yours, mine, let's all be winners.

If 10.742 voters give it an eight out of ten, the series must be pretty okay ! ! !

I am talking about the Series: The Bold Type, little girlie, but it is a fun series, easy to watch and it gives me quality time with my wife. She likes it a lot and well, after a couple episodes I got into it. Just browsing over Twitter, checking some graphs, ready some DM's, it is all good ! ! !

So, the series, features three ladies in the magazine business. Fashion plays a big role and I must say the series is very up to date and dealing with real world problems. Easy entertainment, but I like it, fun to watch ! ! !

Katie Stevens (Jane Sloan), (Meghann Fahy (Sutton Brady), Aisha Dee (Kat Edison) are the three main characters and are followed going through their individuals careers. The ladies work at Scarlet, a magazine where all ladies have a different role. Each individual works out their own problem that highlights a real problem / issue of the nowadays real world. Once again, very easy to watch and it is also fun ! ! !

Season one has been finished in not too many days, now we are working on season 2. No spoilers, but I do have a little clip of one of the first episodes:

This, ..... this is where we went wrong. We like to have Splinter around, playing with her, BUT, babies .... puppies need to sleep. We heard 18 hours per day was NOTHING out of the ordinary and eh ..... well, let's say, we are a little short on eh ...... 18 hours ! ! !

A good tip: have a schedule, the beginning of Splinter her life she needs the sleep to grow and to keep healthy. What happens in the first minutes, days weeks of her life helps her in her whole life; give her the rest she deserves ! ! !

So, Janette being the interviewer I am, I would like to know a little bit more about the lady training our little princess, how did you get into this profession ? ? ?

DOGNL – Janette:

Well, dogs have always been my hobby. During the day I had a payed job and at night I did a dog school. It just did not work out anymore, the both of them, so I chose where my heart was ... My previous profession was teaching and well, 1 and 1 is

look at this, she had a little dog treat and had Splinter near her. At the moment she was NOT looking, she called Splinter and at the moment there was eye contact, she praised Splinter and gave her the treat; one tail wagging cuty was enjoying the little gift. This was repeated a couple times and well, this is something we had to repeat daily, this is how you teach something and how it sticks ! ! !

Covid19, what has it done to you Janette, has business picked up, slowed down .....

DOGNL – Janette:

easy answer: busier than ever ! ! ! 2020 proved to be 1 ½ time the revenue I had the year before. Tho, I did not have a lot , enough, time for my own dog. That is going to change in 2021. I am going to take more time off, in order to do things with her. It is fun to work with her, as she does things I am not able to do myself. I love to put something in the forrest, hide it for her, and she needs to find it. Almost always she comes back with “the price” although she does like to trail it via the most interesting path, following a rabbit's trail, bushed with thorns, or just a fun road she wants to take ! ! ! It is always fun and well, we keep on training each other ! ! !

3. Going to do her number 1 and number 2 at a designated place

That is an important one also, as we do not want her to use our house as one big toilet. Listening to Janette, it all sounds so easy. It is NOT easy, but she makes it sound like a walk in the park. You just need to designate a specific place and keep on visiting this place at the right moments ...... like ALL DAY ! ! ! Meaning, eating, go outside, drinking, go outside, every half an hour, 45 minutes, go outside. playing a little, go outside.... It is just getting the right moments and “Pavlov it” .... That is a term I gave it, just dawned on me. Our lady is doing well, we still have “accidents”, but she is getting the job done ..... well, ........ next question for Janette ! ! !

What do you think is going to happen with all the dogs bought “during” COVID-19 .... The term Corona Dog is already floating around, what will happen, filled dog shelters ? ? ?

DOGNL – Janette:

Standing in front of an empty soccer goal right now, with the ball on the foot, easy peasy .... Dogs are group animals, have a hard time being alone. During Covid-19 many dogs have spent great time with their new owner and after the pandemic that may .... will change (a little). And of course, dogs will be offered on the different Craig's Lists, eBays of this world. People know what they got into, have all the time, when working at home, but the moment “borders” will open again .... dogs will be sent to the shelters, unfortunately the forrest, but working from home has shown there are also benefits, that may also benefit our little buddies at home and will help keeping them there ! ! !

4. Eating Habits

Do you feed a dog all day, 3 times a day, do you keep a food bowl standing in the kitchen all day, or do you put it up ? ? ? Well, puppies need to eat, they get stronger, it is for their bones and total structure, so very important. Also, use a schedule for this. Very important to give food at the same “time slots” every single day. This will relax the dog, it will relax YOU and it just makes it all workable. Dogs, love food but if they stop eating, just put it up and wait for the next feeding. In the morning, lunch and diner, same time and if the don't like it, switch it around; you eat what you like, so make your little buddy a great meal, he or she will love you more for it ! ! !

Well, a day full of wisdom and Janette was an amazing lady to talk to. In a couple weeks we are planning the next session, but this time our son has to be part of it, as he needs to know all this stuff also .... Sometimes things sound better and more believable if it NOT your parents. The way Janette handled Splinter .... I cannot wait for Noah to meet her.

February 12 was the first day when the Vaccine AstraZeneca was used in the Netherlands, If you look at the time table, this was the 6th week of 2021. This is an important fact, will come back at it.

AstraZeneca is important as it is used in big numbers. Since the 6th week of this year 350,284 people have been vaccinated. If we use the number 17 million people live in the Netherlands, this means 2%. Not really the correct number as the number of people that need to be vaccinated is much lower. But in a couple weeks 2%, if we look at the worse case, is substantial.

Well, After Denmark, Iceland, Austria, the Netherlands, besides Germany, France, Spain and Italy also has taken the decision to stop with this vaccine. Why ? ? ?

Well, blood clots are probably the biggest issue. People have died in the last couple weeks, hard to proof it was related to the vaccine, but many countries don't dare to take the risk. The Dutch Medicines Authority has advised, as a precautionary measure to pause the administration of the AstraZeneca corona vaccine.

For two weeks the vaccine won't be used what means 288.791 people will not be vaccinated. That is a big number, as production is going faster. As there are three different vaccines: BioNTech / Pfizer and Moderna vaccinations are still going on. Doesn't mean though, if you were planned to get a AstraZeneca Vaccine, you will get another one now ..... There is just no additional supply to cover this.

Painful but true. AstraZeneca is important as the Netherlands has ordered more than 11 million doses of this vaccine. These are for the group 60-64 years old people, healthcare people, people that have the down syndrome, and a big group of people that are overweight: morbide obesitas ! ! !

Many people out of the big 350,284 group already vaccinated with AstraZeneca are worried and are scared. Of course, a lot of people, doctors and wise people say they do not have to be, but that is a difficult message if you go the syringe in your arm ! ! ! The results of this big group are not valid yet, as the second shot has to be taken 12 weeks after the first one has been given. That is why that week 3 is so important, the data is just not in yet.

Very difficult to tie the injuries/ fatalities to this vaccine, but you do have to take it serious. This will cause a setback, but it is also a promise to the Netherlands and other European countries, this is taken seriously.

Let's see what will happen. Don't panic too much, let's look out for each other ! ! !

Our son loves his room; five years old, already likes to play in his room all by himself. A lot of Legos and other cool stuff. The walls though are still a little bit empty, so we had to do something about it ! ! !

We have thought about beamers and Pokemon drawings but have not been so lucky yet. Well, we have not been so dedicated to it, so this has been the wall for the longest time (good couple months):

So, we actually ordered some stickers, yes stickers, specifically to put on walls. We had a pick of dinosaur pictures, Mario and a lot of animals. A big stag of pictures and we were planning to use all of them. Starting with the monkeys:

The monkeys were sitting and all around some trees. A lot of stickers we had to put on the wall our selfs. We started with two of them and found out it was pretty easy to do. Look at the first part of it:

Well a little more green and well what about the world map with the animals that live in the different countries:

That side of the room looked very nice, no, we were not ready yet, but it started to get a little bit more exciting.

Now it was time for some more boy things, getting scary stuff, dinosaurs:

The big one looks so real, torn from Jurassic Park, Noah LOVES Dinos ! ! !

And Mario, so Bowser, Luigi, Princess Peach had to join the ferocious killers:
